    Hello.

Is there a converter with FireWire on USB 3.0 on the market? I found the laptop on PCI-Express, but not much on USB 3.0, it seems to me that I saw something like that some time ago, but I will not give a head.

    With understanding link

    short answer No. (3.0)
    For USB 1.0 / 2.0 link

The rest is the answer "Uncle Google" (probably not blocked) after entering the phrase
the FireWire converter is USB 3.0

Why do new laptops (palmtops, netbooks) with USB3.0 ports do not have a Firewire connector?

Why they do not have, I know. Windows 8 and up does not support firewire technology. Google buddy did not block, as you know sometimes better to ask someone who has already tested the solution, than to buy blinds from links released by clever marketing departments of manufacturers, and to end not compatible with the equipment. Here I need something for a laptop with a firewire. My client has a license and music creation equipment based on this connector unfortunately. The equipment was very expensive, so I do not want to exchange it and send it googla and links from companies that only want to sell without guarantee of operation ...
It's about multi-stream music recording, USB1 or 2 may not be made with the amount of data, it will probably end with PCI to Laptop and that's it.

    Greetings.

it will probably end in PCIex for Laptop and that's it.

And this is the only sensible solution!
