As the topic. I have 2 parts to do this item. My point is for someone to prompt or draw which pin to which should be connected to make everything work. I will connect a microphone to this, because I have a 2x 3.5 jack headset and I only have 1 input in the laptop: / I would like to do this adapter without any loss of money.

Even if you try, it will look bad. And I'm not saying you don't have the ability or you can't. There are adapters literally for ~ 12 zlotys to buy, but they can hide some additional electronic elements under the housing. And here the trouble can arise. So I don't know if a 1: 1 connection is possible.

And now my question is. I can see, the item on the left is a female jack?

You can see this is a tired female jack. Ie the predecessor wrote that there is NO direct connection possible. "Adapters" are actually USB sound cards.

The bull was quite large. Fact. Now, when I read it, I see an error. I forgot about the analog signal, I only thought about the connection.

Different size, different shape, different contacts. Can't be done.

If 'on the fly' it's ordinary! ; As here: plug one into the other....

If the answers posted above don't exhaust the topic, at least hint at what you want to plug in there and with what.....

Topic summary

✨ The discussion centers around the feasibility of creating a DIY 3.5mm jack to USB microphone adapter for a laptop using two parts. Users express skepticism about the possibility of a direct connection between analog audio signals and USB, emphasizing that such adapters typically function as USB sound cards, which incorporate additional electronic components. The consensus is that a simple 1:1 connection is not viable, and purchasing a pre-made adapter is recommended for reliability and functionality.
