Raspberry Pi vs Android Box: Comparing Kodi, Movie & Stream Experience on Samsung Smart TV

I use a Samsung smart TV, but you know how it is, only you will realize that not everything works on it. I am going to buy an Android Box Tv zoom, yes or something else, but I have a question whether to go towards the box or think about a raspberry PI? It may be a little cheaper.
I'm going to use everything for watching movies, watching streams and certainly for KODI. Please, suggestions.
And is it even worth buying an android box when you already have a samsung smart tv?

For typical multimedia applications, TV Boxes are definitely a better choice than RPi.
They are generally more efficient, everything works right away without the need to combine, they have better image quality, additionally in the box there is a power supply, housing and remote control ;)

RPi has virtually no advantage in this particular application.
