    Another utopek from colleagues.
A friend after 3 weeks remembered that his son flooded the phone and if I could ...
How can I help this, but ...
    The situation looks like this:
The phone starts, the sound is activated. It's so much out of acting (for sure) things. Unfortunately, the touch does not work, so you can not check all other functions.
I have stripped the phone down to zero (including all screens) and the only place where the destructive action of water can be seen is this element
Samsung Galaxy J3 6 / SM-J320FN - When the phone is flooded, the digitizer does
All other elements are / were clean, including connectors from the display and digitizer.
I would not like to strain the cost of the phone owner and buy a new digitizer, if there is a chance that it is working, and the blame for the whole situation is something on the album.
As I have written many times, I do not have a GSM service and spare parts for a replacement, but only relieve my friends in these more "watchmaking activities".
Please tell me if any of these flooded elements on the disc may also be responsible for the lack of touch. Of course (as I wrote) some other functions may not work, but this will only come out after removing this key fault.
At the moment the plate and all systems are cleaned and all traces of corrosion have been removed.

Are we talking about the whole tape or connector? I did not notice any damage or interference from the water. Water flooded the phone as if only in one place visible in the picture.

I would focus on thoroughly cleaning all electronic components on the tape from the display, detaching the tape from the touch that connects to the above tape and also thoroughly clean it. Any bath plate in ultrasounds is also welcome. You will find a disc for this model much cheaper than an efficient display, so if it is from the disc I would start :)

I forgot I may add that the LCD is functional. It displays everything correctly.
That's why the only thing that came to mind was replacing the digitizer or disc. Well, unless it's actually a connector on the display tape, it may turn out that the repair will come out too expensive.
I'll check it again tomorrow when I get back from work.
The plate was washed in isopropanol in an ultrasonic bath, but at the most I would drench it again.

As venummas wrote unprofitable exchange, and sets from China have in the description that does not work dimming / screen lighting, so I gave the phone to the owner without charging it at additional cost.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Samsung Galaxy J3 6 (SM-J320FN) that was flooded, resulting in a non-functional digitizer despite the LCD displaying correctly. The user seeks advice on potential repairs without incurring high costs. Suggestions include thoroughly cleaning the electronic components and checking the digitizer's flex and connectors for damage. The possibility of replacing the digitizer is considered, but concerns about the cost-effectiveness of such repairs are raised, especially given the availability of cheaper parts from China that may not function properly.
