Hello, I have a problem with the display. Almost the entire screen is black there are only 2 places at the top of the phone in the corners where there is something visible. However, touch probably works full screen because I can answer the phone. Is this display to be replaced? How much would it cost and where should it be best done (salon or some repair place etc.). And one more thing because actually I'm not sure if it was my fault the phone was lying in the bag someone could step on it or crush it but not in 100% so is there any sense to make complaints or rather better fix it?

Hello, not much information, but if the phone is under warranty and you do not see any mechanical damage, you can always try to return to the service, it's free and maybe they will repair it, and if not repair it!

From your description you can conclude that the display you have to replace 100% (you can paste a photo as it looks then it will be easier to tell). You can find the replacement costs on the Allegro website, you'll more or less know how much it will cost you. If the phone is under warranty and you return it with this damage, it will most likely come back with a refusal to replace it because of mechanical damage (unless you had additional insurance against such accidents).

Rather, I had nothing extra and I have a subscription so I need to fix it somehow. From what I looked at, the price of the display is about PLN 300 only nwm where I have to mount it to Orange or to some ordinary store where they deal with such things. I would prefer to do it as low as possible. Well, I'm afraid that they will not accept me and I'm not too close to Orange so I do not want to go for nothing

If you repair it where you bought it (authorized service) you will definitely pay more than in any ordinary gsm service, but by repairing it at an authorized service center and having the papers you can keep the warranty (if you still have it).

They have parts on the website, you don't have to buy anything.

Thanks so much for the help, it is a pity that this cannot be guaranteed, because it was not entirely my fault; /

That is, you can try at the most, they will give it back to you in such a state you will not lose anything.

Is this not paid? In addition, for just getting there is a waste of money and I say there are scratches on the glass, and it seems to me that someone just stood on this phone because it is for no reason that the display would not spill or something would happen to me

So it's guaranteed and there is nothing to drive. The first better GSM service will be the best solution.

It seems to me that if you take to the gsm service, they put on the original LCD (they will be cheaper than the authorized service) and you will not lose the warranty. I had a few cases with Samsung and iPhone where after some time something else fell after my lcd and the services recognized the guarantee.

Topic summary

The user is experiencing a display issue with their Samsung Galaxy J3, where the screen is mostly black but touch functionality appears to be intact. They inquire about the necessity and cost of a display replacement, as well as the best place for repairs. Responses suggest that the display likely needs replacement due to visible cracks, and while authorized service centers may be more expensive, they preserve warranty coverage. Users recommend checking local GSM repair shops for potentially lower costs and confirm that purchasing a replacement display online is an option. Concerns about warranty claims due to mechanical damage are also discussed, with advice leaning towards seeking repair rather than filing a complaint.
