    Hello
I have a few questions about my Samsung Galaxy A5 (A500)
The display together with the glass was damaged, as the inexperienced, instead of the whole set I bought the display itself and now I plan to buy the glass and put it together.
Therefore, I have two questions for people who know the subject
    - whether the display itself without the attached glass connected to the phone should respond to touch or only after applying the glass (the glass in this model does not have a tape to connect), I ask because touching the display nothing happens so I am already stupid.
    - is it necessary to use UV glue to assemble the display with a glass, or should the use of dedicated adhesive seals be sufficient?
I am asking for help, I have read a lot but nothing specific so far.
    Thanks in advance
    best regards
    Adrian

Give a picture of the item you bought, in this model the display is factory-assembled with the touch.

The lcd should be with touch so it should work (it should be attached to the back of the tape), although I did not meet to buy the lcd alone unless from disassembly.
You can quickly try on tapes without loca glue it will be a poop but it will work

I do not have at the moment how to send photos but exactly the display is after disassembly, so identical to the picture with the tape. The front, however, is without this glass with the Samsung logo, the display itself. Yesterday I connected it to the phone and it works but it does not respond to touch, now I wonder if they did not send me a damaged one or only in combination with this front glass will everything work? I don't want to throw away the extra money on the glass, as it turns out, I had to buy a set.

You should have a lcd connection >>>

The construction scheme of Fullset is very simple but I sold something especially for you >>>> Samsung Galaxy A5 A500 - Replacing the same fast in the phone and LCD

TO CONCLUDE, CONNECT THE LCD TO THE BOARD AND WILL GO EVEN WITHOUT GLASS.
and by the way, out of curiosity, where did you kick the lcd itself ??

Exactly I have such sockets on the back, on the Internet they sell only glass, where in such a system I can get this touch layer as in your drawing.
If I understood correctly now, the Lcd is factory built and everything should run without glass?

I got the display on the internet, with olx I asked for display on the website

I managed to find photos of my display

You will have a hard time finding such a touch.

Yes, the touch layer is very thin and lies on the LCD. Without fast it also works properly.

From what I realized, I will need a windscreen immediately with a touch from which the ribbon comes out, I checked my old broken and that's how it is.
Maybe someone will help in locating such a fast, something hard on this website.

There are no such parts, you have to buy a fullset
And what you bought send back you have 14 days

Nowhere will you find any touch for this model as colleagues above wrote the touch is combined with the display on which the fast is glued. And from what you write, if you connected the display to the disc and the touch does not work, it means that you received a damaged display.

Dude, you have no touch tape at all, so touch has no right to work, someone has deceived you, or you haven't read or spotted. In any case, the display is not suitable for anything. Until J5 I saw such inventions (fast with tape), but I have never tested.

Buddy Someone, when separating the damaged glass from the display, came too deeply and instead of the glass also separated the touch layer (I did not skillfully repair the beginner / I did a few myself at the beginning :) ) in my humble opinion this lcd only makes sense as a test display for the HUB service
there is no point in buying a touch layer because no one will be able to properly mount it too much for too little cost of the set

My suggestion buy the whole factory glued set and do not try to get away from the cost (it just has to cost you finally replace the element with an average value of about 60/70% of the value of the device) because as you can see it has not had any effect except that you have unnecessarily spent money and you lose just nerves.

I am currently in the stage of getting along with the display seller, I will send him a phone and accept the display, I will replace the whole set and I will add him and pick up a working phone. There is nothing to look for and combine.
I will let you know about the progress

I would not send a phone to a man who sent me such a display ;)

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Samsung Galaxy A5 (A500) and the challenges faced by a user who purchased a separate display without the glass. The user inquires whether the display should respond to touch without the glass and whether UV glue is necessary for assembly. Responses indicate that the LCD and touch layer are typically factory-assembled, and the display will not function properly without the glass. Several participants suggest that the user likely received a damaged display and recommend purchasing a complete assembly set instead of attempting to combine parts. The consensus is that the touch layer is integral to the display's functionality, and finding a separate touch layer is difficult.
