Hello. I am looking for a signal to open and close the door in audi a4 b6 2001. I need it to mount an alarm. Arming by closing signal and disarming by car opening signal from remote control. I mean a positive impulse. I know that these signals come from the comfort module which is under the driver's seat. My question is where these wires go on and what color they are. My point is not to dump the seat or the carpet but to find these wires somewhere more accessible. After all, these wires somewhere must go to some cube.

There, look for signals in the driver's door.

Approx. I'll check tommorow. Maybe in fact in the door I will find these signals because in the door there is a lock and window module, but this does not change the fact that I still have a question where are the wires from the Mk module from under the seats? If they were in the door under the upholstery, I will be pushed through a 20-pin connector in the post.

From this module under the rug you cannot take out the closing and opening signal of the central locking. There are signals only from the interior lighting, etc. There are modules in the door and signals from the lock come to them followed by a can signal to this module under the carpet.

Approx. We will fight and see. I always thought that the module responsible for lighting is the one under the steering column.

The one under the column is from external lighting.

I found. From the module under the seat comes out of the black 16-pin cube the red-yellow wire to control the rear door. The plus pulse appears after opening and closing the door.

Yes the signal is there because they are at the back of the windshield crank but with this signal you can not close and open the entire car.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around locating the door open/close signal wires in a 2001 Audi A4 B6 for alarm installation, specifically seeking a positive impulse from the comfort module located under the driver's seat. Participants suggest checking the driver's door for signals, noting that the central locking signals are not directly accessible from the comfort module. A key finding is that a red-yellow wire from a black 16-pin connector under the seat controls the rear door, providing the necessary signals upon door operation. Additional insights mention the black connector near the windscreen motor as a potential source for ground control signals.
