    Hello!
I have a problem understanding the Samsung UE55KU6000 TV technology. In the description I have written that Screen Mirroring is the same as Smat View. However, by Smat View, I can only upload movie-type media, and the live desktop image no longer (and Screen Mirroring in another TV had such a possibility). So it turns out that it's a bit of a lie with the fact that quoting "exactly the same, only the name has changed". Is it possible to send a live desktop image? For example, through the browser on the TV?

I do not know how this "Screen Mirroring" or "Smart View" works, but this TV supports WiFi Direct so you can connect your computer and have everything on the screen.

Unfortunately, I found articles describing only the transfer of multimedia using WiFi Direct. I guess you can not use it to duplicate the screen.
Screen Mirroring does just that. Identically as if I connected TV to a laptop via HDMI and set the screen settings to "Duplicate". Unfortunately, this TV has only Smart View (it is probably the trade name of WiFi Direct, because it has the same principle of operation). I care about everything being sent to the TV picture (presentations in various programs, spreadsheets, etc.), without using cables.
I would like to avoid buying additional equipment (stick type)

I do not know what you've read but it works for me. Intel WiDi driver on a laptop with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics and send image to TV as if it was connected with a cable. Sometimes I break the connection but I bet on weak equipment and heavily loaded WiFi.

As for Intel WiDi - the site has information that it is no longer supported and download links have been removed - link

In the laptop I also have graphics Intel HD Graphic and windows 10. In "Devices" after turning on the TV detected it in two versions (screen). They have connected, but they are not on the list in Notifications >> connect
I can only when watching YouTube click the icon in the bottom right corner of the player "Play on TV" - which actually works, but it is necessary for me to play such things as : excel, powerpaint, database programs.

Buddy mislead you a bit. Writing that works for me, I was thinking of Win 7 which I used until recently. On the recently installed Win 10 the case got very complicated but after a few days I came to this.

I have a different TV but the procedure will be the same. On my LG webOS, as before, I enter the device's connector, I choose the PC, then Miracast (there is also a WiDi option but it seems to me that it's the same). Now on PC- Settings> Devices> Connected devices (in Polish it may be different, I do not know). The devices for playback should be visible TV (I was always at the beginning).

Now what I do not understand. The Win + P key combination works only when I have a connected HDMI monitor connected to my laptop. When it is not connected to get a display selection menu, I need to use a shortcut to switch the screen, built into my laptop (in my Zenbook is Fn + F8). Then just select "Connect to a wireless screen" and it works.

The only thing that surprises me is that my TV shows only when I'm in TV settings, and my neighbor's Samsung TV is showing up all the time. Apparently there are fewer combinations in Samsung.

I will dig out a little topic because I have a similar problem with the Lenovo Yoga 520 connection with Samsung Smart UE32J5500 TV. Some months ago, everything worked great and recently, as I wanted to throw the screen on the TV, the TV shows the message "Connecting with Yoga-520", after which the screen turns black for a few moments. After that, it returns to the program being played back, indicating that the Yoga-520 is disconnected. No message regarding pairing, no numbers, just a black screen. Windows 10 in the laptop returns the message "it failed to make a connection". Where should I look?

YouTube videos are played back on TV with no problem.

My router is the Xiaomi Mi3 router. Could it not support the connection in this way? Previously I had TP-Link and everything worked.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the Samsung UE55KU6000 TV and the limitations of its Smart View feature compared to traditional Screen Mirroring. Users express frustration that Smart View only supports multimedia content and does not allow for live desktop image sharing, which is possible with other TVs. Some users suggest using WiFi Direct for connection, but it appears to only facilitate multimedia transfer rather than full screen duplication. Others mention using Intel WiDi for screen sharing, although it is no longer supported. The conversation highlights the challenges of connecting Windows 10 devices to the TV for tasks like presentations and spreadsheets without additional hardware.
