Hello, I have a problem with the wifi network on my computer, I have a Qualcomm Atheros AR956x card and if I want to play, then every now and then the internet is lagging, I can not play, lag every 2-3 seconds, but if I plug in the internet with a regular cable, the problem disappears and no matter what the network load is, I'll add that sometimes even the online movie from np cda I can not watch through wifi, I do not have a problem on smartphones so it is not really the fault of the router, had anyone with this problem and knows how to remedy?

Your network works on channel 6 (as well as from 5 others - from which you can see 3 other networks on the same channel).

Change the channel number of the wifi network to another channel - avoid channel 1, 6 and 11 (standard channels in operators' equipment).

I changed the channel, you wrote, now I'm the only one on channel 2, but unfortunately nothing has changed, you still have any ideas?

    W10 has notorious network problems.
You have WPA security set there - change to WPA2, or test on an open network.

Drivers for the current network, from where it was downloaded?

The drivers download themselves using Driver Booster 4.3, everything is current, I have WPA for WPA2 encryption, I will change when I call Toya to give me the password for the router, because without it, I changed my computer without changing it the router is no longer connected to my computer and I had to go back to the old password and WPA

It's the worst thing you could do - a pile of crap behind the door also installed.
Only the drivers of the manufacturer are installed and it is from its part, not some strange program, that the crap gets.

So theoretically, I should uninstall what I now have and re-install the drivers from the manufacturer's website, only that I've already installed it from the manufacturer's website and nothing good came out, it was as it is. And so on the peasant's mind then I should also disagree more in the computer because there the drivers in total I installed everything, so it's actually the best thing to reinstall the system, because I buy robots with all these drivers, but I never did from the recorvery partitions and next stairs here

Recovery and again a ton of shit from the laptop manufacturer.
Install a clean version of Windows with USB dice (do it yourself) and enter only the legal system number.
On the MS website, one could once have downloaded a clean version of the system (as it appeared a legal product key) - look, maybe it is still available.

    This time.
You can also look for a LiveCD version of Windows, burn a CD (or burn to USB) and run from it.

    What about this?

I was looking for the MS website and only what I can do there is to buy a new Win 10 when it comes to downloading from unknown sources of Win 10 as a clean version and then installing from the bone if something is falling out because I do not know what I get.
Regarding LiveCD, if I understand it well, Win is a tile, not installed in a computer, so starting up as I have to run it separately thank you all the more that my girlfriend also uses this computer and I can see how I explain it.
As for testing on an open network, just as I can not change WPA to WPA2, I can not disable the password to check it, so nothing at all for the moment
Unfortunately, I am left with the producer's crap, because I will not buy wine for PLN 580 and I am not sure that the problem will disappear.
But thanks for all the help.

You have to run the LiveCD and test the connection - you have to start doing something instead of looking at someone else.

After all, you can disable the password on the router, not on the network card or on the connection itself.

Only I wrote in advance, I do not have a password for the router and I can not change anything there.
Forgive me, I apparently did not look too much because I spent 10 minutes on this site and found nothing.
As for testing, I really prefer clean Wina and it should help, because at the beginning I did not have such problems, for about a year and a half since the novelty, I already have the key and download it.

You can always reset it with the button on the housing and set it as you need.

I prefer to install Pure Wine already

First of all, take care of all the drivers for the entire computer and then the format.

Right now I am gathering all the info about the drivers I need and I'm going to order them to not have surprises afterwards

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with the Qualcomm Atheros AR956X Wi-Fi card, which experiences significant lag during online gaming, while a wired connection functions without problems. Users suggest performing wireless network diagnostics and changing the Wi-Fi channel to reduce interference. Recommendations include switching from WPA to WPA2 security and ensuring that drivers are sourced directly from the manufacturer rather than third-party applications. The conversation also touches on the potential need for a clean installation of Windows 10 to resolve persistent network issues, as well as the possibility of resetting the router to regain access to configuration settings.
