How can I recover a Kiano Elegance by Zanetti 9.7 tablet that only shows the KIANO logo and no longer enters recovery after an incorrect rkimage update?

You need to flash the correct Rockchip firmware for your exact tablet model using RKBatchTool, not recovery mode, and use the manufacturer’s drivers/package for the device [#16421623] [#16424638] Install the Rockchip USB drivers, then put the tablet into Rockusb mode by holding Vol+ while connecting the USB cable and pressing Reset/Power for a few seconds until Windows detects a new device [#16422015] [#16422217] [#16424638] If the driver does not install automatically, remove the unknown device in Device Manager and manually point Windows to the rockusb.inf file from the driver package [#16424228] [#16424159] Make sure you use the correct update.img for the exact version of the tablet, because there are different variants (for example with and without 3G) [#16421623] In the end, the tablet was revived by doing this on an old Windows XP laptop, which detected the Rockusb device and allowed RKBatchTool to restore the Android 4.4.2 image successfully [#16426621]

    Hello

I have a question and at the same time a request for help, I tried to update the tablet through recovery and inadvertently I chose rkimage ... and it was rather an error that it started to update, but after all, only the screen with the word KIANO lights up and I can not enter recovery.

Is it possible to do anything else to revive it because I do not hide that it is not my toy and I would not like it to fall

    Regards Goodgulf

Connect the tablet to the power supply, turn it on and wait maybe some time after the update to start up.

    Added after 1 [minutes]:

Connect the tablet to the power supply, turn it on and wait maybe some time after the update to start up. Where did you get the update from? Recovery usually updates from the update file from the micro SD card.

You did what is described in HERE on the manufacturer's website?

Not true - it depends on the manufacturer.

So I tried this first but unfortunately RKBatchTool didn't want to see the device visibly. Bad drivers - nothing. After connecting to the computer, however, the system reports something, so it will try again, and I had the upgrade.img file from the net, but unfortunately I am not able to remember where from. Apparently it's Android 4.4 for this tablet.

Start by downloading the correct files and the correct drivers according to the manufacturer's instructions.

Through recovery mode, you will not upload it only using RKBatchTool

This tablet, as far as I know, is in two versions with 3G and without, as the previous speaker wrote, download the correct file specifically for your model. Search for the software on the manufacturer's website or on a rodent. If you are sure you have a Rockchip tablet then you have it drivers . If you have win 10, install drivers without digital signature.

    1) Turn off the tablet fully press VOLUME + and keep it pressed
2 connect the usb cable after a while it detects a new device, it should install the drivers
    3) After installing the drivers, run RKBatchTool and load the .img file and click on RESTORE

Connect the tablet to the USB, press and hold VOLUME - and do not let go and now press the reset button for 5 seconds, release the reset and it should detect a new device. Possibly check the same but with VOLUME +

Then indicate the drivers manually, you have them in the file from the manufacturer's website.

There is progress, having something like this, right-click on an unknown device and select the uninstall option, then if you downloaded the drivers, what I gave you or from the manufacturer, run DriverInstall.exe as administrator, then in Device Manager refresh the devices and the drivers will be installed either manually like Freddy suggests, that is, indicate their location with a 64bit system, it will be the path: ... \ DriverAssitant_v4.4 \ Driver \ x64 \ win8 \ rockusb.inf

After all, the package from the manufacturer's website also includes drivers up to 64bit.
The file also includes instructions on how to start and proceed.
    Quote:
First, install device drivers for Windows
    - to install the drivers, press the Vol + button on the tablet
    - connect the device with a USB cable to the computer
    - press the Power button for about 3-4 seconds, keeping it pressed all the time
    VOL + button
    - release both buttons, the computer will signal the detection of a new one
    devices

Sorry for my mistake regarding Vol-.

Thank you very much for your invaluable help. Thanks especially to gradek83, according to his tips we managed to finally revive this tablet and it was like that. I fired up the old laptop with Win XP, connected the tablet, pressed vol + and reset for a few seconds. then the win was detected by the rockusb device and then XP swallowed rudders drivers. Other systems did not want to. I fired up RKBatchTool which initially did not see the device, then I repeated the combinations with vol + and reset and it detected it downhill. I uploaded the update.img file for this tablet with andek Android 4.4.2, and of course restore and it went works.

I corrected the spelling and removed the slang.
