As in topic, the radiator fan does not work. Fuses OK The voltage and mass are reaching the fan module mounted on the radiator. A thin blue wire checked from the module to the fuse box under the hood. I still don't have the pattern to check it. Error P0480 Control circuit for cooling fan relay 1. Maybe some of your friends will tell you how this control cable runs. From the box under the hood to the module but I need an earlier path. Focus c-max 2005 engine 1.6 petrol 115 horses Fan module replaced from another car in working order. Which relay is responsible for controlling the radiator fan. Best regards and I ask for your hints. I will add that the car has air conditioning and after turning it on, also no fan control. The windmill is one in common.

In the left wheel arch, check the plug from the engine controller, sometimes the pins go back. At least I did, by the way clean the masses there.
Relay No. 12? next to f18 fuse.

I don't know how you are, but there is no driver in the wheel arch in this car. Tomorrow it will be a toy car so I will check the relay. Thank you for the hint and I ask for other tips.

Did you check if this fan even works briefly?
Actually, there may not be a driver there, I had one in diesel, and maybe it was just a focus I don't remember anymore
Check the inside of the car fuse f70 10A
and in addition to relay 12, relay 10 next to f14, f16 fuses.
.But see this plug at the end because the fan control comes from the controller to the relay. There the radiator resistor is separate, or in the module next to the fan that you replaced?

Check with the motor itself that the cable has not oxidized.

Colleagues, the fan works for a short time, no relay No. 12 in the box under the hood. I am looking for a driver and I will check its connection. As for the cable at the fan, there is a secure connection from the fan to the fuse box under the hood. The meter beeps at the passage. I'm going to check your hints, the fuses have already been checked but of course I will look again. If you have anything else, please write.

Toy car repaired, the reason for the failure was a broken blue wire from the fan controller to the computer through the fuse box. I will add for posterity that the engine controller is next to the battery. To make it easier for you I will tell you that two blue wires come out of the engine controller. One for the fan controller and the other for the alternator (and here a great nod to the T5 for a hint). Thank you for your suggestions. Greetings .

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a 2005 Ford Focus C-Max with a 1.6 petrol engine experiencing a non-functional radiator fan, accompanied by a P0480 error code indicating a control circuit issue for the cooling fan relay. The user confirmed that fuses are intact and voltage is reaching the fan module. Suggestions included checking the engine controller plug in the left wheel arch, inspecting relays (specifically relay No. 12 and relay No. 10), and verifying connections for oxidation. Ultimately, the issue was traced to a broken blue wire from the fan controller to the engine computer through the fuse box, which was successfully repaired.
