    Hello
The problem is that the machine has stopped frothing milk. In fact, it does not even take it from the container, the milk rises to half the height of the tube until the tip of the frothing nozzle only flows into the cup - not a drop of milk. As my wife claims, recently the machine frothed less and less milk, but she did not pay attention to it (I drink black coffee so I had no idea about it). Someone has any suggestions what to check or replace. I will add that not so long ago I changed the main heater, the double one.
I will be grateful for any suggestions
    Thank you and best regards

    Hello,
Robsons10, can you write for a layman how to check it.

I have read on the forum that similar symptoms happen when the steam nozzle is damaged

Hello again, as it turns out, the problem is back. After replacing the clutch, it was good for about 2 months, then the machine was not used, after starting it again it did not foam the milk, re-exchange the clutch, after 4 days the same again, or even worse. Now he doesn't even serve hot water, I wonder what that might be? something clogged, maybe some solenoid valve clutched again, although I do not believe it myself. Anyone have any clues or suspicions?

The frother clutch is usually damaged by excessively high steam outlet temperature.

Reason as above - heater, solenoid valve, ntc sensor ..
There may be system obstruction itself ..
Another clutch replacement will work again for a short period of time and the problem will return.

Due to where I am, I can't really have the device serviced.
So it remains to replace the parts one by one, please write what you mean by the set. I will add that the thermoblock was replaced about a year ago

    Hello
I'm new here, from yesterday I became the owner of a used ESAM4500.
    1. The coffee is brewing, but the milk-hot water system does not work. Nothing is flying from the front and after some time you can hear and see a STEAM BUCH (it even threw a differential in the apartment), a small water puddle under the coffee machine and a transparent tube disconnected from the valve inside.
    3. The message "insert water spout and press OK" is displayed virtually non-stop while the spout is attached (or alternatively the milk container).
Where to look for the cause?

This tube cannot be disconnected, which is why you have a puddle under express.

Topic summary

The Delonghi ESAM 4500 has been experiencing milk frothing issues, with the machine failing to draw milk from the container and only producing steam. Initial troubleshooting suggested checking the solenoid valves and frother clutch. After replacing the frother clutch, the problem temporarily resolved, but it recurred after a few months, leading to further concerns about potential clogs or damage to the heater and solenoid valves. Users noted that high steam outlet temperatures could damage the frother clutch, and some suggested that repeated replacements might not provide a long-term solution. Additional issues included a malfunctioning hot water system and persistent error messages related to the water spout.
