Hello, I have a problem with Fiat Stilo 1.9 jtd 2004 with assistance.
Of course, there is no support, and the errors are c1007 electrical motor and c1013 esp electric steering (NGE). Errors can be cleared, but c1007 returns. I noticed in the parameters that there is no indication of the steering angle and it cannot be calibrated. TRW support. I undressed because I thought the sensor was removable as in corsie but here it is quite different, pictures below. Colleagues, where to look for a problem?
    Regards

well, but the support worked, so in this version it is not the sensor that counts the angle for support, I think this one is for the version with traction control ...

Take a photo of the airbag from below and add vin.

Do you have steering wheel radio control there?

in this car, the tape and the steering wheel are added, i.e. radio control, I do not quite understand what they have to do with power assistance

In my opinion, the first error says that the driver does not see the engine. As soon as he is left with you, take care of it. I don't know what kind of engine it is, but see if it can do a short start, how is the problem in the driver. Maybe relay contacts.
Usually there is an H bridge to control the motor and the relay is always closed and is for safety.

good engine, errors can not be interpreted literally, the first error says in general about power steering, as I wrote probably the steering sensor, which is in the first photo and is not available. In the purchased stimulant, despite the same error without calibration, the support worked immediately and the angle was also read correctly in the parameters. Generally, it doesn't pay to play with it because the drug starts from PLN 150. Bought, mounted, calibrated and works great.

Dude, I have the same problem.
Ultimately, what did you mention? The whole support system?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around power steering issues in a 2004 Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD, specifically errors C1007 (electrical motor) and C1013 (ESP electric steering). The user reports that while the errors can be cleared, C1007 reappears, and there is no steering angle indication for calibration. Responses suggest checking the motor brushes and wiring, as well as the steering angle sensor, which is located on the combined switch. Some participants note that the steering support may not rely on the angle sensor for this model, and one user recommends replacing the entire power steering system, as it resolved similar issues for them. The conversation highlights the complexity of diagnosing and fixing the power steering system in this vehicle.
