There is no big difference between the ATI 7550M and Intel HD cards in action. The difference is that ATI HD 7550M (has its own separate and fast Video memory) has newer ones, eg OpenGL: 4.5, OpenCL: 1.2, Shader Model: 5.0 which is required for running games. The ATI card is built into the laptop's motherboard and the Intel HD card is built into the CPU (i5 / i7). The disadvantage of the ATI HD 7570M and Inetl HD cards is the poor data bandwidth, i.e. the bus up to 64bit, and with dedicated cards in mid- and high-end laptops, cards for players with MXM 3.0 TYPE A and B bus from 64bit (TYPE A) to 256bit are placed. (TYPE B).

info. e.g. dedicated HD 6970M card (separate on MXM 3.0 Type B bus)
