Hello, I have a problem that in my laptop I have 2 intel hd graphic 3000 graphics cards and an AMD radeon HD 7650 and my device uses intel from this card. How do I get my laptop to use this AMD graphics card? I have an HP ProBook 4740s laptop. Thank you in advance.

The computer will switch to AMD when needed. Alternatively, some BIOSes have the option to force a rigidly dedicated card (I had it in ASUS) but this is not very energy-efficient.

Up. Intel is supposed to work when working on the desktop. When turning on, for example, the game is to turn on AMD. It is correct. In addition, you have the option "Run with a graphics processor ..." under the right-click on the icons of, for example, games:

Switching from Intel HD Graphic 3000 to AMD Radeon HD 7650 on HP ProBook 4740s

So you can force the use of an Intel card in the game (not meaningful most of the time).

Well, I do not have such a choice. I run the game with amd system monitor and it says the card is 0% used

    What?
Install the latest motherboard chipset driver. from the laptop manufacturer's website, then the Radeon driver, also from there.

I still do not have these options, what can you restart the laptop?

It will not happen without restarting.

from this site I downloaded the chipset and the graphics driver.

You have downloaded, but have you installed? After each install, you should do restart .
You have 2 cards so 3 drivers had to be downloaded - chipset -> then Intel, then AMD install.

Still not working, any other ideas? I have all the drivers up-to-date.

Now write if you have graphics switching enabled in UEFI:
    Switchable Graphics Mode = Enabled.
If so, check your power settings. First, write if AMD does not switch / turns on on battery power and from the network.
Power> Power Options (in active scheme)
    cit.
    > enhanced energy options> check ALL entries there are 3 that can conflict with the switching:
    > Set the dynamic switchable graphics for battery and ac to automatic
    > Set the intel gpu power plan for ac to max performance (or both - if you want)
    > Set the ATI Powerplay-Options to max / optimal performance

! Also Check that you have set the application / game to HIGH Performance in your
Catalyst Control Center (+ do not disable the Power Play Option in Catalyst Control Center)

(+ don't forget after switching from balanced to high-power or energy-saving these e entries must be set as well)

Generally it is about enabling high performance,
    auto on graphics switching
    Intel - max performance
    AMD - max / optimal

It is said that the game in CCC should also be set to w. Performance and not turn off Power Play.

What's even more important - sometimes the wrong order of driver installation irretrievably "cheats" something in the system.

Another option - the AMD card has a failure.

How to check if UEFI is turned on graphics switching? I know that when I enter the BIOS, there is nothing about the graphics card ..
