    Hello
I would like to connect my brother MFC-J220 printer to two computers in one room.

Do I have to use a printer switch for this purpose, e.g. Gembird Usb 2/1 Printer Switch (DSU-21)

    Can I also have a USB hub, e.g. HUB USB I-BOX 3.0 Black 4-Ports (IUH3FB)

Are the ports being separated important? Do I have to use a USB AB cable for separation or can I also use a USB AA cable?

Can you recommend a particular hub or are they all ok?

Or maybe a good solution would be to use a print server?
    Quote:
"The print server, as a device, can operate:
o wireless - sharing of access takes place via a wireless network (Wi-Fi). It does not require a wired network connection to start sharing the printer.
o wired - the device must be connected to a LAN. "

You will have access to the printer from any computer on the network (I assume the network already exists).
    Read e.g. here: https://www.morele.net/ consciousosc/serwer-druku-jak-wybrac-print-server-jaki-najlepszy/1311/
And check if your servers work with your printer.

I have a router in another room and I would have to drill holes and pull the cables to the router. That's how I pull the cord in the room.
