Hello, I will try to be succinct and to the point.

Well, today I bought a graphics card msi gtx 1050 ti gaming x 4gb , I connected it, everything flashes, HDMI signal is on, card is on. The system recognizes it as the "Microsoft Basic Graphics Card". I downloaded the latest dedicated drivers for this card from the MSI website and then it started .... Drivers installed, I restart the computer, the system turns on and strange things happen. Either the monitor goes out and the system restarts again and again the same way, or the system works but every minute it crashes, the screen goes out and then lights up again every minute.

And obviously the system hangs because for a moment I see how the mouse cannot move, the monitor goes out, it lights up and I can do everything for some time.

After installing the drivers, the system recognizes the card correctly, even in TechPowerUp GPU-Z everything is visible well.

Of course, if I uninstall the nvidia drivers again, the system works normally, it does not jam, does not flash, etc.

Before each reinstallation of drivers, I cleaned the program from the previous driver.

I will add that before installing the graphics card itself, I did the computer format, so windows are clean without rubbish.

What did I do and it doesn't work?
    - Bios update
    - I disabled the integrated graphics card
    - I installed older versions of drivers from msi
    - I was updating windows
    - I reinstalled windows
    - I did the so-called clean installation of nvidia drivers
    (probably enough)

    My equipment:

    Processor: Intel Core i5 - 4460 3.20GHz LGA 1150
    Graphics: MSI GeForce(R) GTX 1050 Ti GAMING X 4GB
    Motherboard: MSI H97M G43
Power supply: Tacens VALEO V 800W

The system is located on the SSD with drivers

I am asking for some advice because I have no idea what to do ....

Symptoms best match the damaged graphics card. It happens and new.
Take out the card, clean the contacts, put them back again. The card seems to have extra power - plug it in again, make sure it sits well. The card you have in the slot closer to the processor I understand?
You can take measurements of the 12V power supply specifically, but I don't think there is a problem here.

I still hope that it will not be damaged card: /
I took it out, made sure it sits well, of course I screwed it so it doesn't hang, I placed the card closer to the processor due to the better airflow in my housing.

I edited the post after removing the predecessor post.

To be sure, if you can, take a card, e.g. to a friend, and check. Then it will turn out whether it is the fault of the damaged card or other equipment.

Unfortunately, I don't have that option. But I noticed a relationship. I do not know if this applies to the graphics card but if I do not have drivers installed for it (that is currently), the videos on YouTube play nicely, immediately jumps on 720p. But if I have the appropriate drivers installed, the videos show such artifacts as if the pink dots and films turn on in 360p and get stuck.
All in all, these dots can be seen even on the browser but only when the drivers are installed.

Then try it with other drivers. It's best if you look for someone to check her for to eliminate the damage.

And how would we assume that the graphics card is not damaged?
Maybe any other ideas anyone would have how to solve this problem?

There are no easy methods here. If you really want to, try for example on Linux. Run Live distribution from a pendrive.
In your case, it suggests heavy distribution, e.g. the new Kubuntu. There, the "nice" desktop itself can show artifacts and brightness.

    Pendrive will do this:
    https://www.linuxliveusb.com/

Use a USB stick to boot a PC. Check how she will behave. You can also download the nvidia driver there to make sure you get over it. But without it (on this open Linux) you can play something YT. In the case of graphics, this is not a super reliable test, unfortunately.

Since you have tried various drivers, system fresh, BIOS reset - you have already done everything. There remains damage to either the card itself or the power supply / motherboard / CPU. However, as you can see hoof prints, the thought of a horse is not about zebras ...
The problem looks hardware and the card is the most reliable. Have you had a PCI-E card before or did you go to intelHD?

Thanks for the hint I will try to figure something out in this direction.

I flew all the time to IntelHD.

Or maybe these problems are caused by the fact that before I had a system on HDD and now I did the full format and installed the system on SSD? In the sense, maybe the card works with the drivers in itself, only the system does not overwhelm why it hangs? Maybe change some bios settings? Unfortunately, I don't know much about it ....

Whether the system is on hdd or ssd card has nothing to it.

BIOS has nothing to do with it. Only that if you didn't have a card in PCI before, something with the disc may be wrong.

I would still try to boot the system in safe mode, and see what the effect will be, it will eliminate doubts whether the fault is not on the side of the software.

    Thanks to everyone for help.

    The case is as follows:
I removed all drivers, installed only those from graphics (latest), TechPowerUp GPU-Z saw the card correctly but the screen flickered / the system hung.

The BIOS version is also the latest from the manufacturer's website - 2.B

Without removing the drivers, I entered safe mode, the screen did not flash, the card was correctly seen by the system, e.g. in the device manager.
I could not open the TechPowerUp GPU-Z in this mode to check the details but in the corners of the system the card was seen everywhere as Nvidia Geforce 1050 Ti, so rather correctly. I walked on the system for a long time, it did not jam even once, the screen did not flash at all.

It means nothing and basically indicates that the card is damaged. In safe mode, the card works only in the basic functions mode, just like without a driver.

Okay, generally the card works! The screen has stopped flashing and the system does not freeze :D
I fully believed in her, but I have one small problem with her.

What have I done that nothing blinks and hangs?

I uninstalled all drivers and their remnants, i.e. folders, 'installs', files from the recycle bin.

    I unplugged the computer.

Then I just used a different cable, namely:

The red end to the power supply, the black end to the card.

I installed later latest drivers and everything is flying!

But as I said, I have one small problem with her.

I have the latest drivers installed, I started the computer again but pink dots like for ss are flashing:
    http://i.imgur.com/xWa9HLF.jpg

On such a 'computer' screenshot you can't see these dots, that's why the picture from the phone.

These dots move and I noticed that they appear only on dark (gray) places.

Anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Symptom of the same fault it is. Still artifacts.
If something changes the cable change, it suggests the meter in your hand and check how there with the 12V line that powers the card.

    Hi
Did you deal with this card? Because I have similarly, under Win7 x64 I could not shut down the system first because I had to restart and now restart after installing the drivers. GTX1060 card. And most interestingly, I installed Win10 and everything works fine and under Win7.

    Did you manage finally?

Topic summary

The user experienced repeated system resets and screen flickering after installing NVIDIA drivers for an MSI GTX 1050 Ti Gaming X 4GB graphics card. Initially recognized as a "Microsoft Basic Graphics Card," the installation of dedicated drivers led to instability, including crashes and artifacts during video playback. Suggestions included checking for hardware damage, reseating the card, and testing with different drivers. The user found that the card functioned correctly in safe mode, indicating potential driver issues. After uninstalling all drivers and remnants, using a different power cable, and reinstalling the latest drivers, the system stabilized, although some artifacts persisted. The discussion highlighted the importance of ensuring proper power supply and cable connections.
