Generations 5 and 4 are broadwell and haswell, respectively.
As for the CPU supported by the disc, I refer to the manufacturer's website and the list of supported CPUs.

    Generations for PC:
    I: Clarkdale, Lynnfield - LGA1156
    II: Sandy Bridge - LGA1155
    III: Ivy Bridge - LGA1155
    IV: Haswell - LGA1150
V: Broadwell - LGA1150, although mainly LGA2011 (this generation on the consumer market almost does not exist)
    VI: Skylake - LGA1151
VII: Kaby Lake (the same as the 6th generation, they differ in marketing)

    And also server-based:
LGA 1366 - I generation (the line was called Bloomfield)
    LGA 2011 - In 2 revisions (2011- 1 and 2011- v2 ) - II, III, IV and V generation
    LGA 2066 - upcomming

Or so, I found on the network:
LGA 775 (also called Socket 775 or Socket T) - Intel Pentium 4, Pentium D, Celeron D, Pentium Extreme Edition, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme, Celeron, Xeon 3000 series, Core 2 Quad.
LGA 771 (also called Socket 771 or Socket J) - Intel Xeon.
LGA 1366 (also called Socket 1366 or Socket B) - Intel Core i7.
LGA 1156 (also called Socket 1156 or Socket H) - Intel Core i7, Core i5, Core i3, Xeon, Pentium, Celeron.
LGA 1155 (also called Socket 1155 or Socket H2) - Intel Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge
LGA 1150 (also called Socket 1150 or Socket H3) - Intel Haswell, Broadwell
    LGA 2011 (also called Socket 2011 or Socket R) - Intel Core i7 (Sandy Bridge-E, Ivy-Bridge-E)
LGA 1151 (also called Socket 1151 or Socket H4) - Intel Skylake, Kaby Lake

Well, it's sure that some maintainer of the site did not remove the product in the flood of work, or forgot to change the price. Or the price is after *** ban. Take this G4560, it's a weaker substitute for i3, you won't get anything better. You really can't find anything better. Works more or less like i3 on LGA 1150

Yes it is the 4th generation of Intel processors. But I wouldn't go there and just buy something on p. 1151.
    Eg.

    1. ASRock H110M DVS R3.0, H110, DDR4, SATA3, DVI-D, microATX (90-MXB4A0-A0UAYZ) motherboard - price PLN 209,
    2. Intel Pentium G4560, 3.5GHz, 3MB, Box (BX80677G4560) processor - PLN 248,
    3. GoodRam PLAY DDR4 memory 8GB, 2133MHz, CL15 (GY2133D464L15S / 8G) - price: PLN 248

He has been poking around with this for several topics. Some time ago, someone recommended a set like you, Bogdanzieba (except with the B250 mobo and probably higher clocked RAM) and we all know that nothing better will be found, but he still pokes at it. I have the impression that even if he reads, he doesn't remember

As Lem wrote: People don't read. And when they read, they don't understand. And even if they understand, they don't remember.
And probably so in this case. I'm unsubscribing

It all depends on what budget you have. My proposal was the most "economical" ...

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around identifying different generations of Intel processors, specifically for socket 1150 and 1151. The 4th generation is known as Haswell, while the 5th generation is referred to as Broadwell. The user seeks a compatible motherboard, CPU, and RAM set, and mentions the Intel Pentium G3460, which is confirmed to be a 4th generation processor. The conversation also touches on pricing discrepancies between older and newer models, with the G4560 being a more cost-effective option compared to the G3460. Recommendations for motherboards and RAM are provided, emphasizing the need for specific features like HDMI and multiple DIMM slots.
