Hello, recently updated the above phone to your girlfriend for android 7.0, but she did not like his appearance and wanted to return to the previous one. The return went, but the first time she was turned on, she was asked to enter the previous Google account, unfortunately, like the blonde (hard to remember ...) she forgot what was the password and typed it incorrectly many times. After a while, the phone turned off and stops on the "Huawei" log, I tried to restore the system through the "HiSuite" program but there you can not do it, I read on various xda forums and all attempts to fix it failed when I enter "FastBoot" on bottom I have "Phone Locked Frp Lock" written. I am asking for quick help, I promised to repair it :P greetings

How did you update? These phones update themselves.

I updated by EMUI then to undo I did as it was written on the Huawei website, i downloaded the previous version, unpacked, uploaded the DLOAD folder on the memory card, pressed the 2 volume keys and the switch and the update turned on itself.

Each factory reset is based on non-extended basic hardware. Enter the service mode and restore the settings and soft factory. Needed wifi connection.

Unfortunately, I can only enter this mode, which I wrote above under the cable, others do not fire when the phone stands on the huawei logo.

Read on the page how to restore the phone to factory settings. How to run in service mode and how to upload the original software. Download the software from the phone manufacturer's website.

Turn the phone off by holding the power button for longer than 10 sec.
    How to turn off:
Press and hold vol + and still holding vol + press and hold the on button for about 5 8 seconds, release it but keep on vol + on the screen should appear emui recovery menu, you can release vol +, select wipe data / factory reset and you have a tel once removed from boxes, (all user data and settings are erased).

Unfortunately, the phone can not be turned off, rebooting immediately when I press the switch.

Stop writing fairy tales, blocking frp and stay that way.
Now it's only a good service to deal with it.

This post has something to contribute? P9 Lite has newer security features and these tricks do not work. Another thing that the author of the subject phone does not start so it will not help much.

In this case, only the service will help, you could try to unlock the bootloader and upload soft, but with the google lock enabled you will not even unlock the boote ...

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around a Huawei P9 Lite that became stuck on the Huawei logo after an Android 7.0 update. The user attempted to revert to the previous version but encountered a Google account verification issue due to forgotten credentials, leading to a Factory Reset Protection (FRP) lock. Various suggestions were made, including entering service mode for a factory reset, but the user faced difficulties accessing recovery options. Responses indicated that due to the FRP lock, professional service intervention might be necessary, as standard recovery methods may not work with the newer security features of the device.
