    Hello ;-)
I am the owner of the Corsa D from 2008
Unfortunately, this is the basic version without a computer that I would like to add :)
I know that one option is to replace the radio and display with a GID and radio with a BC button, for this display cover, etc.

I wonder, however, about the clocks that have a large display, a lot of it on the Allegro, also in versions before the lift - the question is such a replacement is possible?
A colleague has OPCOMA, I have CARpass for my car, unfortunately most such clocks are not logged out, can I log such unlogged clocks at my home with an opcom? in addition to the display, you will also need a new handle. Comparing the prices of the required parts, replacing the clocks would be the cheapest and the simplest overall, the question is, will it work?

Clocks from the Englishman come out even cheaper, can they also be reprogrammed to show the distance in KM?

Thank you and best regards :)

You won't log in until you log them out using the code from the car they come from. This is the way to go but you have to pull the pin out of them.

    Thank you for the information,
Near me is a person who can read the pin from the counters, if I had such a pin, then after connecting these clocks at home and logging in and adding the shift handle the computer will work? Will you need to pull any extra wires?
    Regards

Hello. I am just after replacing the clocks for Opel Corsa 2008. I got out of acoustic signaling, no signals of lanes, direction indicators, attached lights, etc. From what I read on the forum, after replacing the clocks you need a pin and coding for another car of other clocks. I bought used clocks on the Internet, put on the car and everything flashes as it should be, nothing needs to be coded, everything works as it should.

Because the clocks were probably logged out.

I don't know if they were logged out because nothing on the subject was written in the auction, but in my opinion if they were logged out I think they would have to be logged in to another car and I didn't do anything and everything works as it should.

No need. If you were not logged out, they wouldn't work.

Maybe you are right but I am curious who would like to play in logging out for 20 zlotys because I bought them for so much.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around upgrading the instrument cluster in a 2008 Opel Corsa D from a basic version to one with a larger display and additional features. The owner seeks to replace the existing clocks with those from other models, potentially sourced from platforms like Allegro. Key considerations include the need for a PIN code to log the new clocks into the vehicle's system, which can be obtained from a local expert. Some users report successful installations of used clocks without needing to reprogram them, suggesting that if the clocks are not logged out, they may function correctly. The conversation also touches on the possibility of reprogramming English models to display distances in kilometers.
