    Hello
I have a problem with the front door open sensor. The light on the board is lit despite the closed flap. Where is such a sensor located?

Second problem. The (yellow) ESP indicator is also on the board - how do I turn it off, does it mean that ESP is turned off?

    best regards

You have a thin sensor in the lock (2 wires). As for esp is vag diagnostics. Unless you have disconnected the battery, you need to drive the car, fire it up and it will go out.

The car was a crash. If that sensor was there, it's gone. What to do to make the computer sense that the hatch is closed (without the sensor) because the wipers do not work when I am parked.

Short the wires and it should be approx.

YES, but where can I find these cables? Because the entire front was overhauled. Where I find them closest to the boards.

    Reverse-shorted cables are open mask.

In the area of the bonnet lock.

When replacing the bumper, I didn't notice any cables in the lock. But I'm looking for nothing

The second thing. The AIR BAG indicator is on. No wonder, I don't have a passenger airbag. And the question is, how do I connect a new pillow, everything will work after resetting the error?
How much is such a reset in the workshop?

You didn't notice, because the cables from the engine compartment side are.

Since the car after the accident and fired up the airbag, resetting the errors will not help because there is a record about the accident and you need to have the driver cleaned or replaced.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around issues with a VW Golf 5, specifically the front door open sensor and the yellow ESP indicator. The front door open sensor, located in the lock mechanism, may not function properly if damaged, especially after a crash. Users suggest shorting the sensor wires to simulate a closed state. The yellow ESP indicator can typically be reset by driving the vehicle, but if the airbag light is also on due to missing components, a reset may not suffice without addressing the underlying issues. The conversation highlights the need for proper wiring checks and potential repairs following an accident.
