    Hello,
I am looking for help in repairing or finding an equivalent for the comfort module: 1C0962258AB. VW bora 1j6 estate car, no electric windows and electric mirrors, only interior lighting and central locking - such a poor version.

Since I remember the module had a problem, from time to time, very rarely, it happened to tick that was combined with switching off the interior lighting. The problem was not bothersome until last winter, when the quite central lock died and with it the lighting.

While digging through the forums, I came across a hint about cold solders. I removed the module and gave it to an electrician, he improved February and then warmed the module with "hot". Unfortunately, this did not help at all, on the contrary, because if before this procedure the module ticked with relays all the time but it reacted now neither ticks nor reacts.

The only option to start working properly is warming up the car, often after a long journey the module seems to behave quite normally. Relays do not tick constantly, but only rarely. When the module is heating up, the possibility of communication with the module via VCDS on channel 09 returns. With the module there was also communication on channel 46 and even the possibility of adaptation, but as the winter progressed, this possibility disappeared.

I tried to buy the module on the Allegro, but all of them are lupo, despite the identical font and the same module number, there is no communication with them (my original was under 46 but only channel 09 remained) and they do not open the rear door lock and properly flaps. Here comes the question:
Is the communication harness damaged to me and therefore there is no access to the modules, or are allegro modules mostly modules after passing through?
If someone has such a programmable module, I am able to buy it for a decent price - after checking if it works in my car.

Is there any way to repair the original module. Warming up the car helps, but it seems to me that this will be a symptom of a faulty electronic component, or at best a relay.
The rear door limit switch does not work, but the problem was much earlier than with the comfort module. In this case it is cold solder because it is enough to hit the lock lightly and the rear door lamp starts correctly.

I will be very grateful for any information you may give me, dear forum members.
    greetings

Buddy, if you buy 1C0962258AB it doesn't matter from which car it was taken out, the only thing you need to do is to code it properly after assembly.
If you do not have a connection, look for no power or damage to the communication line, I bet no power on the module or damaged harness.

    Hello,
Thank you for your answer. From my statement it is simple that I tried to code new modules, but while I have communication with the original after baking on 09, there is no communication with those at all. In addition, with another module, the interior lighting works properly and the front lock, communication does not work. Is it possible to check this power supply yourself with a multimeter? Could you install me where to look for schematics for these plugins?

I don't know how you could have communicated with module 09? There is no such thing in your car.
    What do you diagnose it?
Cold February, if you have already read something, not in the module, but somewhere else.
And after the last post, you can see that you don't do anything yourself.
From a distance, you can see that you probably have a good new module, and communication etc ... is a different story.

Hello adam7009 thank you for your theoretical answer,
I communicate with the module via cable and VCDS program. block 09 is probably the central lock and 46 is central conv.
The new module that I have does not respond to 09 or 46, the outputs are 3: either damaged harness or damaged module, or the pins in the plug are replaced.
Whether or not I work alone is another matter - I do not intend to rummage myself because as long as it is warm, it does not want to spoil more.

Maybe in your car there is no central lock for me and it responds to 09. Cold February occur on these plates, but more often the modules are flooded because of not very thoughtful location (it is just in the passats)
I am looking for someone who knows if there are problems with swapped pins, or someone who knows if an element that has failed and after heating partly works is replaceable.

09 is a central electrician, you don't have 100% of it, from what I remember it's only central in sharan, you have either 35-central or 46 comfort module.
you don't have windows in the current, you only have central address 35.
search for diagnosis via address 35

    Hello,
Today I have thoroughly checked and you are right, I'm sorry I doubted your answer. The central lock is 35 and this channel in my corresponds to the original module and my friend sharan corresponds to 09 (2001), while in the module with Allegro for PLN 150 no response controler. I would add that in the winter 100% electrician communicated with block 46 (later I bought the cable and software myself) and the module with Allegro did not answer 46 at the same time. Is it possible that simply the module with Allegro is inoperative, despite the fact that the interior lighting works on it, and there is no communication with it and the beam is not damaged?

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the repair or replacement of the VW Bora's comfort module, specifically the part number 1C0962258AB. The user reports issues with the module, including intermittent ticking sounds and failure of the central locking and interior lighting systems. Attempts to repair the module, including soldering and heating, have not resolved the issues. Participants suggest that the user check for power supply issues and verify the correct coding of any replacement modules. There is confusion regarding the diagnostic blocks used, with clarifications that the user should focus on block 35 for the central locking system. The possibility of damaged wiring or incorrect pin connections is also raised, along with the potential for the replacement module to be defective despite some functionality.
