Hello, I'm planning to buy an active subwoofer to release, I have a maximum of PLN 400, I'm thinking about Magnat Monitor Supreme Sub 302A or
Coda 100b, I care about low frequencies 25-35hz, the magnate specification will be better, but what does it look like in practice? Will I find something better at this price?

It is hard to advise something "dry" - it is not known in which room, where, to what music the subwoofer can be used, for one it may suit another. If this is a stationary store, you always have the option of returning, so it's best to get along with the seller, take home one, listen to the next one and then decide (I took TV in one of the electronics stores last year).

Room about 15m2, music of all kinds from classics to radio hits, sometimes I also like to listen to conversions specifically for the subwoofer, both subwoofers are used and I do not have the possibility of listening, I mean more about them, the code seems more solid 21kg and quite massive suspension only smaller so the diameter will not go as low as a magnate in theory (at least I think so).

This does not mean anything, I have been using the Tonsil Sub 100 for many years in combination with my own fronts on Tesla speakers, the back is dipole Technics (probably sbs 50), the central Tonsil from the first Fenix series and really in a 30m room. I don't complain about the lack of bass, I listen mainly to the 80s, eurodance, italo disco, electronics like Bilin, Jarre, Vangelis, Koto etc. It's all connected to an old JVC RX-5042s receiver.

Complaining about the lack of bass is the last thing I would like to achieve, so I'm looking for someone who had one of these subwoofers and can recommend, it's hard to find something reliable about them on the internet.

Someone once wrote on the Forum - larger speaker diameter - better effect, take into account that the cinema does not have a dedicated subwoofer output, you will have to use high-level inputs, which may also affect the quality of the listening experience.

I intend to use the adapter from Jack 3.5 to 2xRCA, could you write what the high-voltage output is, I connect to the subwoofer output in the cinema?

How, where do you want to connect it?

High level inputs - you connect cables from the front speakers (left and right) to the dedicated subwoofer inputs, then connect the front speakers to the dedicated subwoofer outputs (Koda allows it, Magnat also - ask the sellers for photos of the rear panel and post them).
You don't use the subwoofer output in the cinema.

The cinema is connected to a 3.5mm-2xRCA jack and the same way I want to connect the subwoofer, i.e. Jack from the cinema and Jack from the subwoofer in one output.

In this case, you will have to "hang" the jack cable going from the computer to the center speaker and subwoofer, you will only have to control the volume of the set from the computer, if you want, for example. Listen to the radio, the subwoofer will not be active.

I use cinema only for PC, so it suits me, I think that if I set everything right, all I need is a control from a computer. I have a Jack splitter so no problem.

As you think, just take into account that since Windows 7 the sound support by the system has changed and the bass may be silent despite the 5.1 configuration set in the system, so it would be safer to use the high-level inputs.

I will try to do as I wrote, if it will not work, I will try to think about it, I think I will decide to take a magnate, I would have to buy a Jack-1xRCA cable or I would have left or right channel.

No - since the sound from the integrated card is enough with a Jack-2xRCA cable, one connected to the cinema input on the center and the other on the subwoofer (about it "split" the cable).

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around choosing between the Magnat Monitor Supreme Sub 302A and the Koda 100b active subwoofers, specifically for low-frequency performance in the 25-35Hz range. The user is considering these models within a budget of PLN 400 and seeks practical insights into their performance. Various contributors emphasize the importance of room size (15m²) and the type of music played, noting that personal experience with different setups can vary significantly. The Koda is perceived as more solid due to its weight, while the Magnat is noted for its theoretical specifications. The conversation also touches on connection methods, highlighting the use of high-level inputs due to the lack of a dedicated subwoofer output on the user's home cinema system. Recommendations include testing both models in-store if possible and considering the impact of speaker diameter on bass performance.
