    KIA Carens 1.8

I am struggling with huge burning that has nothing to do with computer readings.

Are the indications as in the pictures below correct? The engine is warm.
Probe in front of the catalyst - red
Probe behind the catalyst - green

take a meter and check how fast it is oscillating.

Combustion is affected only by the first probe and the graphs show that it works properly.
Check the signal from the probe during engine braking and acceleration, and how the ignition timing changes.
Unscrew the candles and check their color.

within 5 seconds once what disqualifies her as functional.

It does not necessarily disqualify the poll. the probe can work well and the problem may be on the fuel supply side of the engine (for example)

Which doesn't change the fact that you can't say anything from the charts.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around the lambda probe readings for a KIA Carens 1.8, specifically comparing the front and rear catalyst probes. The user reports excessive fuel burning and seeks validation of the probe readings, which show a red indication for the front probe and a green for the rear. Respondents emphasize the importance of time in interpreting the readings and suggest checking the oscillation speed of the probes. They note that the first probe primarily affects combustion and recommend monitoring the signal during different engine conditions. Additionally, they advise inspecting spark plug color to diagnose potential fuel supply issues, indicating that the problem may not solely lie with the probes.
