    Hello.
    I have windows 10. I have two partitions in the flap. C - system, where I have 3 GB free of 24 and D practically all free. I wanted to download windows 10 and boot it to pendrive / board. When starting MediaCreationTool, "No space on C drive (8GB)" pops up. How can I "fix" this with drive D? Virtually all space on the C drive is taken up by the system.

    After all, in Creation Tool, after selecting the disc option (.iso), you can choose the location where the file should be saved - you choose D.

    Well, after choosing whether to make updates or save, it immediately pops up that there is no space ..

    What kind of disk is it? Upload your hardware specification.
    If everything is on one disk (both partitions), it is enough to remove the larger partition and extend the system one.
    If it is some kind of hybrid drive it will be a problem.

    Great idea ... no what ...
    @Filozofero
    All you have to do is free up some space on the system drive (Windows 10 x64 installation is about 3.5GB) and then try.

    256 GB SSD. I tried, but with the C partition I cannot extend - with D I can extend.

    I suspect that the place you have free is devouring the pagefile, how many frames do you have? I reserve the system as well.
    As for changing partitions, I recommend the EaseUS Partition Master program - I used it to change the size of the partition on the clogged disk without losing data (though the disk one).

    Do not mess with this extension, but remove unnecessary garbage from the system partition.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around the issue of insufficient space on the C drive when using the Windows 10 MediaCreationTool. The user has a 256 GB SSD with limited space on the C drive (3 GB free) and ample space on the D drive. Suggestions include selecting the D drive for saving the ISO file, freeing up space on the C drive, and using partition management software like EaseUS Partition Master to adjust partition sizes without data loss. Some participants recommend cleaning up unnecessary files on the C drive instead of resizing partitions.
