    Hello

The message "FAN NG" appears to me, and then the cinema turns off by itself.
Sometimes this happens after a few minutes, sometimes after hours of operation.
Often, even 4-5 times in a row within a few minutes, and sometimes once a day.

Besides, I don't see any other symptoms.
I'm sending photos of the interior of the cinema. Maybe they can help you locate the cause or point to an element.

    best regards

I checked on the open housing, the fan is working all the time. However, I could not wait for the error to check if the fan stops working. Maybe there will be no error with the housing open. What else can you check?

Since it works on an open housing, something with the temperature inside probably. Until then, wait and watch.

First, load the cinema with speakers, turn on a movie or music, and monitor the voltage on the fan on a regular basis.

After loading, the message reappeared and the fan stopped rotating. I will check the tensions on the next occasion.

If it turns out that the problem is due to a loss of voltage on the fan, I would recommend immediately tracking down the fan's voltage regulator and checking to see if the voltage is dropping on its input.

After 3 visits to the website, the complaint did not improve.
As soon as the warranty expired, a similar service repaired my cinema for PLN 150 (by replacing the fan) and the equipment has been working for 3 months without jamming.
Conclusion: they make linden on the complaint ...

Topic summary

The Samsung HT-F5550 cinema system is experiencing a "FAN NG" error, causing it to shut down intermittently. Initial troubleshooting involved checking the fan's operation, which appeared functional when the housing was open. However, the error persisted under load conditions, suggesting potential overheating or voltage issues. Recommendations included monitoring the fan's voltage and inspecting the voltage regulator. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the user ultimately had the fan replaced at a service center, which resolved the problem.
