    What and when to buy a graphics card? Specifically, I mean the strange trend of the rising prices of used graphics cards, compared to the price at which they were bought just a few months ago. I can spend 1800 PLN on the card. Not so long ago it would be a lot, at the moment you can get the GTX 1060 6GB for such an amount and it is not so easy, because some stores sell such cards for the amount of over PLN 2,000. (Komputronik, in other cards there is no minimum of this class at all). Is it better to buy GTX 1060 6GB now, or better to wait two weeks and graphics cards will return to their prices, I ask because I do not know if this has ever happened before, I have not followed this market for several years, so I have no idea.

    I am slightly shocked ... I checked myself in disbelief, because I bought a new GTX 1060 6GB for PLN 1300 in February, and now the price starts from PLN 1500, I bought a whole computer with this card in February, for ddr 4 16GB, and i5 -6400 for 2700 PLN.

    I am the first to see computer prices soar. How can you, wait for a moment, it's possible that it's only temporary ...

    It's best to wait until the release of new cards, and certainly a 1060 like this will do a lot, and it's a great card.

    For PLN 1,500. I have not seen it, unless on Allegro, in the store, I only saw the GTX 1060 from MSI for 1700 PLN. I do not know if this is a good card, specifically I mean MSI GeForce GTX1060 GAMING X 6G 6GB GDDR5 192bit, I feel a pity to pay 1700 PLN for it. well, unless it is one of the better GTX 1060 6GB cards, maybe someone would like to comment on this?

    I specifically bought "Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5". I see that it is available in the online store for PLN 1,450. I don't complain about this card, the differences between it and MSI are probably negligible ...

    Is it the ALTERNATE store? As it is in this store, I prefer to pay more and have it from Poland, unless in another store they are at this price - if the store was reliable, I would think about it. Coming back to the GTX 1060 6GB card itself, will I feel the difference in performance compared to my previous card, the RX 470 4GB?

    In fact, I did not notice, it probably does not exist and they are for PLN 1750 ... an interesting thing with these rising prices!

    RX470 -> 1060, I would probably not change over. In some GTX games it is faster, in others the two cards are close together.

    In general, it will be very difficult from Poland at the moment, people buy several / a dozen cards (see e.g. auction 6862174354 - two people bought 28 cards) :) ). Most of the cards that will appear soon are already patched / sold, stores postpone order fulfillment dates.

    I would overcome it - for example, in the German Amazon, there are still some cards (often with free delivery to Poland), several models are available for the first days of July. It's worth checking ...

    I sold the RX 470 taking advantage of the price increase. I wanted to improve my computer. I sold my card at a profit, so if I buy a GTX 1060 now, I will reset the earnings from the sale of my card, when I buy a GTX 1060 for PLN 1700. It will turn out that I will buy GTX at the old price (more or less), because GTX will cost me PLN 1350. and I will have 6GB, not 4GB, additionally I will get 6 months warranty and I will have two fans (my card had 1 fan), that's how I thought it up. Regarding Amazon, the opinions about buying from it are rather negative, it is mainly about the service of the online store in Poland, the conditions are not clear and not everything is translated into Polish.

    From another country, but then it is worse with the seller's warranty (implemented in the store), although the manufacturer's warranty should be implemented in the country, if the manufacturer has a service ... at least I think so, I have repaired the camera abroad. And the second option is to call shops and ask for cards at a normal price, but the order will be processed in two or three weeks ...

    Well, I have already bought a GTX 1060 6GB (with one fan) on Allegro, new without warranty (30 days for startup) for PLN 1100. with cash on delivery, I'll see what card it is and let me know. I decided on it because of the price of PLN 600. cheaper than the cheapest GTX 1060 card available in stores) and because it is new.

    Unfortunately, it did not work with this GTX 1060, but I bought another, the GTX 1070 and now I'm testing it, I can already see that it is faster than the RX 470, but you know it.

    This is normal and it has always been so - maybe not in such a short period, but fluctuations by several dozen%.

    If someone wants to buy a graphics card and is not forced to do so, for example, with a failure of the owned one, then all that remains is to wait for the warehouses / stores to be full - then the prices will drop.

    Or can someone tell me what temperature under stress should the GTX 1070 graphics card as the reference version? My under stress reaches 83 degrees Celsius after a few minutes. PC AeroCool PGS VS-92 black USB 3.0 case, I installed a total of 6 fans there, 3 for air in the case, 3 for air out of the case. The fans get their power from the Molex, and I noticed that they give little wind, walk just slowly, but are inaudible, like the whole computer. The temperature was measured with the FurMark program.

    How the referent is normal temperature. The card will not achieve more, it will drop clocks / voltage.

    Thank you for the info. Now I did a longer test and the maximum temperature after 10 minutes is 85 degrees, previously I replaced two fans with ones that cool better, but it does not do much.
