    Hello.
I need a graphics card up to PLN 900, it can be a stimulant or a new one. Possibly some offers worth paying for. The second thing: is it worth waiting for a reduction or buying a card? The card is supposed to be for games like LoL, The Witcher 3 etc. and sometimes for streaming.

    Best regards.

Wait for a while. The new GTX is coming out soon. So the old ones will appear on the market cheaper or the red ones will come up with something interesting.

Soon, higher (read: expensive) models will come out, we will wait for the middle and lower shelf ...

kendziorixxx - take a used 1060 / 3GB for 700-750 PLN and enjoy playing :) You can wait forever.

@god As you quote it a whole. ;) new models will come out, so the old models will become because they will want to get rid of them from the warehouses (as long as they have not bought everything like bitcoiners). There will also be stimulants with a 1060, 1070 guarantee because someone is rich and you know you will exchange 15% more FPS. Everyone knows that the new series will be expensive.

If you are counting on the fact that after the exit of 1180 there will be 1060/1070 stimulants at a significantly lower price than today, my opinion is that you will be disappointed.

And if you mean waiting for 1150/1160, then "a little" of this waiting will be ... And you want to play now, not in spring ;)

Somehow I think to see the situation within 2 weeks, as it develops, I am not talking about the normal price but some reduction. At the moment 1060 3GB will be the best choice ??

Up to this amount, yes, but you need to know that you should not overload her RAM, because if you overflow it, the card will drastically slow down. The effect depends on the title, but can slow down by up to 40%.

As for the proposed reductions: there is no need to wait. The cards will not stop much, they will start dancing 2-3 months after the premiere of the new ones, as was the case with the previous series, and it is unknown when the new ones will come out. So it's not worth waiting ... Besides, there is a rise in RAM prices (despite the fact that they are gigantic), such rumors circulate, so it will also have a negative impact on prices

Haha, someone will remind you that these are fans and windmills in the fields.

I am not a specialist, I would look for a cheaper model with two fans and a warranty for 3 years myself. Generally known brands are ok, I saw sensible 1060 models on apricots in the amount of PLN 1050: p

There may be fans. I care about a stimulant, because why overpay, as some offers for alledrogo are with a guarantee :)
If I had to look for a new one, I would rather pay extra for a stimulant with gw up to the 6gb version ...
And the budget as in the title because I'm not a demanding person and I have other expenses.

I think something about it https://allegro.pl/msi-geforce-gtx-1060-gaming-x-3gb-stan-idealny-i7435657761.html

Must be on the Allegro and listen to the fans. If the graphics card is from the excavator, it will have run-down fans, in excavators you usually spin a little more. Then use the return option

The price is cheaper, it's worth the wait

✨ The discussion revolves around finding a suitable graphics card within a budget of PLN 900 for gaming (specifically League of Legends and The Witcher 3) and streaming. Users suggest waiting for new graphics card releases, which may lower the prices of older models. The NVIDIA GTX 1060 (3GB) is frequently recommended as a solid choice, with advice to consider used options to stay within budget. Concerns about RAM limitations and the importance of selecting a model with adequate cooling (preferably with two fans) are also highlighted. The conversation includes considerations about the timing of purchases and the potential impact of new releases on current prices.

FAQ

TL;DR: Up to 40% slowdowns when 3GB VRAM overflows; "it's not worth waiting"—price dips appear 2–3 months post-launch. Buy now and manage textures. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps budget‑minded PC gamers in Poland pick a GPU under PLN 900 for LoL, The Witcher 3, and occasional streaming—without overpaying or getting stuck waiting forever.

Quick Facts

What’s the best graphics card under PLN 900 for 1080p gaming now?

A used GTX 1060 3GB around PLN 700–750 offers the best value. It meets the budget and target games well. “You can wait forever,” so a solid used unit lets you play today. [Elektroda, rzymo, post #17311891]

Should I wait for new NVIDIA cards or buy now?

Buy now. Prices don’t drop much immediately after launches, and reductions tend to appear after 2–3 months. As one expert said, “it’s not worth waiting.” [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]

When are the new GeForce GPUs expected?

Community expectation pointed to a reveal by August. That timing mainly affects high‑end models first, with mid‑range following later. [Elektroda, icosie, post #17311804]

Is 3GB VRAM enough, and what happens if it runs out?

Yes, if you manage settings. When 3GB VRAM overflows, frame rates can drop by up to 40%. Keep texture quality moderate in heavier titles to avoid stutter and hitching. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]

Which GTX 1060 variant should I choose: single‑ or dual‑fan? Are Palit, MSI, Zotac okay?

Pick a dual‑fan model and target a 3‑year warranty. Major brands like MSI, Palit, Zotac, Gigabyte are fine if the cooler and warranty check out. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17314993]

Is PLN 850 fair for a used Gigabyte GTX 1060 3GB Windforce OC with warranty?

It’s slightly high versus the suggested PLN 700–750 range. Pay it only if condition is excellent and warranty is solid, or negotiate closer to the range. [Elektroda, rzymo, post #17311891]

Is my Corsair HX 520W PSU enough for a GTX 1060 3GB?

Yes. The GTX 1060 3GB has about a 120W TDP, so a quality 520W unit provides ample headroom for your system. [TechPowerUp, 2016]

How do I safely buy a used GTX 1060 on Allegro?

Use this quick check:
  1. Buy via listings with a clear return option.
  2. On arrival, listen to the fans; mining cards often have worn, noisy fans.
  3. If fans are loud or rough, use the return option. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17315107]

Will this setup handle occasional streaming of LoL or The Witcher 3?

Yes, with sensible settings. Streaming adds load, so avoid texture settings that push VRAM over 3GB. If you see stutters, lower textures and restart the game capture. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]

Should I sit on integrated graphics and wait a few weeks?

No. Mid‑range successors arrive later, and waiting can drag on. “You want to play now, not in spring,” so a used 1060 3GB is the practical move. [Elektroda, rzymo, post #17311929]

Is paying extra for 6GB worth it for longevity?

Yes, if the price jump is small. Extra VRAM reduces the risk of overflows that can cause up to 40% performance loss in demanding games. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]

Will the GTX 1180/next-gen launch make 1060/1070 prices drop a lot?

Don’t expect a big, immediate drop. High‑end launches land first. Mid‑range changes take longer, so near‑term deals may be modest. [Elektroda, rzymo, post #17311929]

Any AMD (“red team”) alternatives worth watching under PLN 900?

Keep an eye on AMD listings as NVIDIA launches can nudge older cards’ prices. Some AMD options may become attractive when inventories adjust. [Elektroda, bloodyman, post #17311733]

How should I set textures on a 3GB card to avoid slowdowns?

Use Medium textures in heavier titles and avoid high‑res packs. The goal is to keep VRAM usage under 3GB to prevent large performance drops. [Elektroda, n.vision, post #17312835]
