    Hey

I need advice / help regarding the phone of my wife, Lenovo K6 Note, who has shut down today and does not want to start. The phone is 2 months old, the wife noticed that it is very warm and turned off. We put it in a shady and cool place, the temperature dropped, but still I can not fire it. I connected it to the charger, it gently warms up, but I do not know what it charges, it's been on it for a quarter of an hour but it's not going to turn it on? Do you suggest what to do?

    Thanks

That's for sure, and what could have happened and whether I could get my data back?

Damaged plate or battery. If a plate is damaged, you will not be able to recover the data. The service usually exchanges the disc for a new one.

Can I recover something from a damaged disc? Authorized service also deals with recovery, so I was thinking that it might be extra paid, or if there is damage, there is no question of recovery.

Authorized services are not likely to play data recovery. There are companies that deal with the recovery of data from such damaged phones. The only question is is the game worth the candle?
It is quite expensive. So it all depends on how valuable data is on the phone.

So hoping it's just a battery ... thanks!

After the night, the phone started up, after connecting it to the charger, i.e. it comes out that the battery was to blame. Is it necessary to give the phone back to the service, could the battery be damaged to some extent?

Topic summary

The Lenovo K6 Note experienced a shutdown due to overheating, with the user reporting that the device would not restart even after cooling and charging attempts. Initial suggestions included utilizing the warranty for repair. Concerns about data recovery arose, particularly if the device's internal components, such as the motherboard or battery, were damaged. It was noted that authorized services typically do not handle data recovery, and specialized companies may charge significantly for such services. After a period of charging overnight, the phone successfully powered on, indicating a potential battery issue. The user questioned whether to return the device for service due to possible battery damage.
