Installing a camera on the window of your apartment on the parking lot

Can I install a camera from my apartment window aimed at the parking lot, and do I need permission or special approval?

Yes, the thread consensus is that you can install such a camera, especially if it only watches the parking lot or your own parking space [#16563102] If any private apartment windows are in the field of view, set privacy zones/masks so those areas are not recorded [#16562902] One reply adds that if you want to screw the camera to the wall, you should have permission from the building administration, while attaching it to the window glass was treated as less problematic [#16562943] For a camera aimed only at your car or the parking area, the cooperative or a neighbor is not considered the authority that can simply forbid it; if they object, they can complain to the data protection authority [#19001575] A sign indicating that the area is monitored was also suggested for security [#19001575]

Hello there, I read the topic Electrode and I wonder if something has changed in this topic, is it allowed to install an outdoor camera aimed at the parking lot (or 1 parking space) in the block (a few bought apartments)
    Best regards.

If there were any windows of private properties within the camera view, privacy zones should be separated there and everything is fine.

And if the camera is aimed only at the parking lot, do you need a permit, etc.? Because until I do not share it, nobody can do anything because it does not violate the rights of personal data as far as I know.

Well, you've exhausted the topic :)

For logic, everyone on the road equipped with recorders would also have to have permits :)

Well, if you want to screw it to the wall, you'd better have permission.

But if you stick to the glass, I think they can kiss you :)

Same topic as with sat antennas.

For the window sill it is the same as for the window, i.e. I assume what cameras are of good quality.

    Not a problem (assembly)
    The fundamental question is.
Is it allowed to monitor any area without such information, without permission?
There are monitoring in public places, but information about it is visible.
In your case, I am not entirely convinced. Maybe someone has a different opinion?

I'm just waiting for the opinions of other users, maybe someone has already installed it like that, I don't want them to steal twice.

I will add that the cameras are mounted in the middle of the block.

    Hello
I am writing to you in relation to the topic. Some time ago I installed a camera on the window frame. There was only one reason, damage to movable property by an "unknown" perpetrator. It was a pity at 9,000. Currently, I have another car and I am afraid of a repeat of the situation because the neighbor is conflicted and since she saw that I have a new car, she reported to the cooperative that I infringe her privacy, although the camera has been hanging for a year. The cooperative is on her side and she tells me to dismantle the camera whose image is directed only at my car. I know that he wants to damage my car again and I'm afraid for my property. Help, what should I do?

nothing, the community or "somsiad" are not the authority that can prohibit you from doing this, if they want to go to the knives, they will report you to the PDA and then notify you of the opening of an investigation. For security reasons, I would make a sign, for example behind the car window, that it is monitored.
