Hi, I need some help. I have a USB microphone (novox nc-1 black) and it detects sounds from the surroundings, cars passing outside the window or conversations in the other room, etc. Can the microphone be configured so that it does not detect all this? I do not mean that it will turn on only when the sounds are loud enough, but that those quiet background sounds are not audible when I am talking. Can it be done at all? If so, I would be very grateful for your help.

Reduce the write strength and hold the microphone closer to your mouth. The microphone sensitivity is a constant, otherwise you won't reduce it.

The volume of sounds decreases with the square of the distance. That's physics.
If the voice is important to you, the closer it will be to the microphone, the less you will hear the sounds of the surroundings. This is the first thing you can do. Secondly, you can probably speak louder, work a little bit on emission. Another thing is to soundproof the room where you are using the microphone.
