    Hello,
I need to replace the capacitors in the Viofo A119 camera. Currently, two pieces of Nanoforce DRL 2.7V 2.3F are installed there, but I cannot find them anywhere in Poland. Will the installation of capacitors a few farads (if they fit) damage the webcam?

The webcam inside looks like this:

You can mount safely. Only how can you be sure that they are damaged?

I don't have a guarantee, but after contacting the manufacturer and recording the symptoms (the webcam damages the last recording before the power is cut off and loses the settings), capacitors are the surest option. One is also slightly convex. It is true that the Chinese promised to send me the original ones, but I do not know if I will live to see them :)

If he "rotten" then the bank should be replaced.
    PS.
In order not to lose the last recording before turning off the power, you should manually turn off the recording a moment earlier. It should be especially remembered about this if the last fragment is important (an event happened).

This is how the method works. You can also save such a recording. If you turn on the playback of the recording in the webcam, it can repair the damaged file. However, the webcam is new, it came from Banggood and such a flower. I don't want to play with them anymore, at most I'll have a dispute on PayPal, but I want to fix it on my own. Do I understand correctly that a larger capacitor will make the webcam come without electricity for longer?

    Exactly.

What capacitor do you recommend for this camera? I think that it should also be resistant to high temperatures that can prevail inside the car.

Topic summary

The discussion revolves around replacing the Nanoforce DRL 2.7V 2.3F capacitors in the Viofo A119 car camera. The user is unable to find the original capacitors in Poland and is considering using larger capacitors. Concerns are raised about whether using capacitors with a higher farad rating could damage the webcam. Responses suggest that replacing damaged capacitors is necessary, especially if they are swollen. It is noted that larger capacitors could potentially extend the power-off time for the webcam, allowing for the last recording to be saved. Recommendations for capacitors that can withstand high temperatures are also requested.
