    Hello,
I'm starting my adventure with "DJ" and I am at the stage of completing the equipment.
I know more or less what the case with ZAiKS looks like - the organizer of the event must pay royalties (ie the premises or the principal of the event), and as a DJ I am only required to have original and legal media for the tracks I play.
The question is this: is there any institution or service that, after making the appropriate fee, allows you to download mp3 files from your site and legally let them at parties? Is the only way for a DJ to buy hundreds of CDs, for thousands of zlotys?
Because if it would be possible to buy songs on the internet, why should I buy a whole album for 20 PLN, which will only use one song if you could legally buy a song for 5 PLN and use it for the public. It would simply be worth it.

But what's the difference with the public play option?

And give me some Polish stores where I can find single disco-polo songs and old hits? And what about the proof of purchase? Will they send me an invoice, or how?

I will gladly answer your question.

From what I licked the subject already, in Poland only what you can do is sign up for DjPromotion or DMC ... Nowhere else did I find other places with legal music for public playback: /

What I wrote Kraniec_Internets from what I know is complete nonsense. You can only purchase a purchased song in Itunes for home use, so you can not make money from it ;)

I've already read everything on the internet on forums etc. and still do not know where to get music in MP3 with the possibility of public play ... DJPromo or DMC is great but dedicated to clubs, not for DJ events, where the game older pieces like Boney M ...

From what I read on the web BEATPORT is a site for DJs, what follows with the music for public play, but it was a topic from 6 or 5 years ago and I do not know how now because my English is not so good that I could understand a dozen or so pages of the regulations ... Dear colleagues, do you have information on this subject?

With ZAiKS, the case looks like it would be best if you had in writing that the club / venue / event organizer undertakes that he will pay the fees.

You must pay ZAiKS either you or the organizer / club, and whoever will do it you can get along.

And when it comes to websites, I can also recommend DJ Promoter as a colleague above, but I have not had contact with the latter yet. But you can also look for foreign websites ;)
