    I have not checked this model, but LG usually have special remotes to enter service mode. You can use the VENUS 4: 1 programmable remote control, LOGITECH.

    But if you absolutely want to, then of course the 105-201M. And you have sample descriptions for the entire chassis series LDxx, LCxx. I don't think your LC42 / LD42 is different.

    Examples of two service points:

    CHASSIS: LD43B / LD44B
    MODEL: 42LB56 ** 42LB56 ** - Z *

    CHASSIS: LC42B
    MODEL: 47LB6700 47LB6700-CB
