    Welcome.
Colleagues, I have a problem with the air conditioning. It smells terrible. 4 years ago I bought a car and after about half a year later (when it started to get warm), it turned out that the climate stinks. Since then, I have tried ozonation in cheap and expensive plants many times, tried various types of gases, foams and specifics, it did not help much.
Klima stank for a moment from the moment of switching on and for a long time after switching off. There was nothing wrong when it was not used. This year I gave to the "spec" who did ultrasound cleaning for me. For a week, maybe two were ok. Unfortunately, then the smell returned and it was stronger. I went to the amendment and unfortunately after 3 tries now it smells mercilessly and in addition non-stop. I checked with a probe how it looks inside and it doesn't look nice. What can this be done here?

It seems to me that I could also clog the water outlet from the evaporator but I can not locate it anywhere ...
he should be somewhere here right?

If someone had this problem before and found some page / video showing how to disassemble the dashboard in this car to pull the evaporator, send it because the massacre with it.

    Behind this heat shield.

Pour a little water around the evaporator and check for leaks under the car.

I stripped inside to see this drainage hose. I pulled it out and it was unobstructed, clean but there was a leaky hole there for something from the airbag bolted to the floor
Klimatyzacja Passat B6 1.9TDI BKC 2005: Terrible Smell from Air Conditioning & Solutions it smells terrible from that area. Unscrew it to break this wet sponge?
Tomorrow I will order a new hose and I blinded the hole today.

Can you do all this without workshop interference? I mean unsealing the systems by removing the evaporator (washing (how and how) or replacing? New (what company) or used from disassembly?) To connect the evaporator-> tube system do you need any special equipment? Do I just need some armbands and O-rings?

You need to rip the entire dashboard to pull out the evaporator?

What you marked in the picture - the black box with the yellow connector is a pillow driver.
You can do it yourself but you need to pump the refrigerant from the air conditioning system.
Disassembly board, heater housing for removal and evaporator from it. It needs to be washed from the outside to remove the fungus, and to clean the inside of the heater housing.
After completing the works, check for leaks and purchase of the system.
I suggest replacing the O-rings on the evaporator connector.
If you have a fungus on the evaporator, you will not remove it, no ozonation, ultrasound or foam.
Mechanically it is hard to do, let alone some miracles.
There are special liquids for cleaning air conditioning + hot water for cleaning. Look for a company that makes air conditioning in offices / homes and they'll sell you some of this liquid.
Do not go crazy with some inventions so that you do not chew aluminum.
Ozone treatment, etc. is a preventive measure and not a medicine for stench, as it stinks it is only people who are starting to take care of the atmosphere but then it is too late.
