    Hello
Dear forum users, I need some guidance on heating the rear window.
Namely, I have a Passat B5 97r 1.6 petrol in the sedan, and everything works except for the rear window heating :(
When you try to turn it on, fuse 5 (marked as 12 on the card) immediately blows and thus the climatronics stop working.
    Someone can guide me?
I will only add that I have already changed the switch but to no avail Passat B5 '97 1.6 Petrol Sedan: Rear Window Heater Blows Fuse 5 - Climatronics Impact Passat B5 '97 1.6 Petrol Sedan: Rear Window Heater Blows Fuse 5 - Climatronics Impact

The cables break most often in the flap grommet.

    Except it's a sedan.
I undressed half the car and everything is ok from the fuses to the glass, I also checked the mirrors by disconnecting the doors completely.
Tomorrow I will check the heated sprinklers, maybe they short circuit

Problem solved, after dismantling half of the board and checking all cables and connections, including mirrors, it turned out that the driver's seat was burning the fuse when turning on the rear window heater.
Everything works fine with the driver's seat removed.
It is strange that the fuse of the heated seats did not burn ?
Now it remains for me to disassemble the driver's seat and see the reason. Passat B5 '97 1.6 Petrol Sedan: Rear Window Heater Blows Fuse 5 - Climatronics Impact

He gives up, disconnects the driver's seat (green ankle) and does not light the fuse, but still the rear window heating does not work :(
Today I installed a different seat, also heated from the sedan b5, and the fuse does not burn, but no reaction ?
With mine, he tries to turn on but blows the fuse, on the other one he doesn't even try to turn on.
Anyone know what circuit the rear window heating and the seat heating have in common?

It worked, I couldn't believe my eyes ?
The previous owner, when installing the 2 din radio, mistook the seat heating plugs and the rear window heating!
