I am trying to replace the washing machine. I know that I will buy an Amica with an extended manufacturer's warranty, but I am still thinking about the 7 / 8kg model loaded from the front.

More expensive models have a better Pearl Drum (this is a unique structure of the washing machine drum that provides maximum protection for fabrics during washing and spinning. Thanks to the new drum design, you can enjoy your favorite clothes longer.).

Generally speaking, the replacement of bearings is a plus for Amica, as long as the washing unit is not stuck.

However, I wonder if it is worth paying extra for a more expensive washing machine, which supposedly has a better motor, i.e. Logic Drive (Thanks to innovative solutions, the engine runs quieter and its life is longer) and the Aqua Stream function (Additional water circulation system with detergent, ensures better washing efficiency with lower energy consumption.)?

Is this engine actually better, maybe there are some disadvantages?
Aqua Stream is maybe another little element that can break down?

Logic Drive, i.e. there is no universal commutator motor, only a 3-phase motor + more electronics (inverter) was used, which may additionally be damaged. As the motors themselves are much more reliable compared to commutator ones, the inverter can get damaged for any reason and then the repair is not cheap.
As it is important to make it quieter, you can choose a model with a Logic Drive engine.

I have been using the washing machine with this motor extensively for almost 3 years and I recommend it to everyone. The motor is first of all very quiet, it is also energy-saving and durable (it does not have a commutator and electrographite brushes). In the previous washing machine, I replaced the brushes every 1.5 years. Now I'm in peace. You can see that more and more manufacturers of washing machines are starting to use such motors in washing machines and soon they will replace commutator motors, just like commutator motors, two decades ago, single-phase induction motors with a starting capacitor. In conclusion - it's worth paying extra.
