    Hello,

I am planning to buy the first smartphone with a fingerprint reader.
It will likely be the Motorola G5 or the more expensive Honor 8 or Huawei Nova.
From what I have already learned, the reader on the front is more practical in the car and how the phone lies.
In turn, in Motorola and Nova they indicate that the double tapping on the wake up topic does not work, and what if, for example, the reader breaks? how do i unblock the screen?
What and how many fingers can I set such a reader on?
How does the reader work if your fingers are dirty or wet?

It's nice if someone additionally addresses my selection of phones. I know the G5 is a low end but solid phone. Maybe someone will recommend me an alternative for the above up to 5.3 ", good camera and battery, low susceptibility to damage and scratching and most importantly, low probability of carcass after updating the system.
    Thanks in advance!

In addition to the reader, an alternative method, e.g. a pattern, is always established.

It probably depends on the model and manufacturer, but usually 3 fingers is the minimum.

The rear or front positioning is a matter of getting used to, it is actually better to have it in the front, but on the other hand, you should not use the phone while driving. ;)

I understand, but an unauthorized person can also use only a pattern as an alternative, because, for example, they saw me draw it? Of course, in a situation where the reader rejects the foreign finger, then all that remains is to do with an exercise or other such method. I can see that the reader is more fancy and faster to unlock the phone than the actual firewall.

Without crypting on the phone, you can put data security between fairy tales. If you want to be safe, code your phone or buy an ipka or a series of top samsung S7 or higher.

Hello, I can confidently recommend Mototrola G5, a very solid phone and as for the line reader, this is:
Do not be afraid that the line reader will break (I do not even know if it is possible) but apart from unlocking with your finger you always have an unlock pattern or a pin code set. In this model (at least I have) it is possible that you do not need to have a navigation bar at the bottom of the screen (home, back, last used), but you can turn on a function such as gastronomy. It consists in the fact that when you click on the reader, you return to the main screen, when you drag the reader to the left, you return, and when you click the reader to the right, you turn on the last used one. The phone also has smart commands, for example when you want to quickly turn on the flashlight, you just need to shake the phone, the same is with the camera. A phone worth recommending. Best regards! ;)
