I use HTC m8s as an LTE modem in my laptop, when I connect my wife's HUAWEI nova phone, although both phones are in Orange (mine in Orange free, Her subscription) and speedtest is similar, the internet from my wife's phone works better. This is especially visible during online games, my net clearly cuts at critical moments. I checked the sim card in the salon and found it ok.
Is the phone the cause and can buying the eponymous router help me? What does such a router actually give, greater range, better software? After all, the phone has a processor, ram, etc. ... Maybe it's about wrong phone settings? I do not know. I am asking for advice and thank you in advance.

I would like to add that on the speedtest made in the laptop, the results with the HTC connected are: d 48 u16.5 p20, and on the HUAWEI d 55 u 17 p19, anyway, the internet should be stupid, but it is not! Can anyone help ? Buy this router or not? Will the quality of the internet improve? Is there anyone ?

E5573 is a mobile LTE router, available for purchase for PLN 70 on Allegro. For stationary applications, LTE-A routers are used, stationary routers with LAN ports. Orange in Lublin uses its own LTE2600 and LTE800 networks as well as LTE1800NetWorks and aggregates these bands. Nova has a category LTE6 modem and aggregates two LTE bands, hence higher speeds, HTC has a category LTE4 modem and uses only one LTE band. From routers with LTE 6 cat. Recommended B525, B528, E5186 or MF286A from T-Mobile, it combines two LTE bands. They can be forced to aggregate two specific LTE bands.

Thank you very much, finally someone led me to the trail. Looking at the prices of the routers you indicate, I will rather look for a new phone with LTE 6, thanks again.

Of course, you make another huge mistake, for home applications, stationary LTE-A routers with LAN ports, the possibility of connecting external antennas are used. dedicated to work 24/7. Ideas with a phone as a router are temporary, emergency solutions. The mentioned routers with LTE6 cat can be bought for PLN 250-300, so what's the point of buying a phone? For gaming, a laptop / computer is connected to the router via LAN to minimize ping. Most phones do not allow forcing a specific LTE band or aggregation of two bands. And Polish operators use several LTE bands.

I wonder if it is possible to test such a router. Ping on the phone is probably good, within 19-27. I would have to check how the games would work under the router. Will look around for an opportunity to test. Thanks for correcting me.
