    Hello
I bought Borbet 13 "alloy wheels with Fiat 126 in mind. The seller had them installed in Seicento (supposedly). I would like to check before I buy the right tires if they really have a 4x98 gauge for Fiat, not 4x100, for example.
Description on the rims: 5.5J ET38. KBA 43205 is marked on the outside. Can you use this to determine the bolt spacing?

And isn't it easier to measure?

With a difference of 2 mm. (between 4x98 and 4x100) measurement at home will once be 4x98 and the second time 4x100. I think so. So I am asking if this can be read from the rim.

After thoroughly cleaning the rims, I found another marking:
    LK 98. Yet 4x98?

Take, buddy, put those rims on, and you're done. As long as you have them at all and you are not at the purchase stage.

Floating screws are used to compensate for such minor differences.

    Ok. Thanks for the answers.

Topic summary

✨ The discussion revolves around the compatibility of Borbet 13" alloy wheels with the Fiat 126, specifically concerning the bolt spacing. The user inquires whether the wheels have a 4x98 bolt pattern suitable for the Fiat 126 or a 4x100 pattern, as indicated by the previous installation on a Seicento. Responses suggest measuring the bolt spacing directly, but one participant confirms that the wheels are likely 4x100 based on product descriptions. However, the user later discovers a marking indicating LK 98, suggesting a 4x98 pattern. The conversation concludes with advice on using floating screws to accommodate minor differences in bolt spacing.
