Why through the network? Corel 7 does not export to pdf? This is just not wise! And it was enough to read in this section, you would know that it is not worth packing in pinnacle, but ... And wouldn't it be better, calmer and safer, for example, to install the latest version of Corel (30 days free) and possibly to export everything to PDF? Choosing a system won't change anything. And proposes to use your own options. The export to pdf option is not in Save but in Export to ... or Convert to ... I don't remember what it was like, but ... Why don't you print them directly from Corel, you just convert. Another thing, from the attached pdf document, you can conclude that the project is gone and the one to blame is certainly the font you used earlier and you do not have it currently installed. Yes, not enough that it is the full version, it still has no limitations, e.g. watermark. Just don't save these files. If you overwrite the new version only in this or newer version you will be able to restore it. But I will add in a moment because many people will write that Corel has the option of saving to a file with a different version, but for example the X8 version saves to the oldest, i.e. X1. When it comes to file compatibility, I have never had problems with any version - unless the file was damaged - for example, something popped up during writing, then it cannot be restored. Corel has one nice thing, too, if you are opening an older file, it notifies you of any missing items while opening it and suggests what to replace them with. For example, in the case of your file it was a font and the program suggested the most similar one. Photo at the very end. I have to check it, because while with games, for example win10, despite the compatibility setting, the game will not start, the programs should not be such a problem. But. You can and you don't have to. Microsoft thinks from time to time and has some good solutions. Eg Windows XP in the program version. That is, you install it like a regular program under any windows from Version 8.1 upwards and you can start it to install programs and old devices such as printers or scanners. It's nice, because you run it only when you need to. Installing the XP version first and then the next one is another matter. Of course, this Xp is completely free !!! Corel did not take over Pinnacle, but took over the very interesting company Ulead, including two excellent programs: Ulead Photoimpac and Ulead Video Studio and Ulead Video Studio Pro, which had a lot in common with Magix (the company) And unfortunately, as it often happens after taking over, you do not see the future of the programs at all . What were you supposed to do? Ask. Then you would have one more cool Sony Movie Studio program. At a similar price, a really good program. Motherboard with laptop accessories damaged, additional drivers only after installing Google, and here was the problem. IE displayed pages sometimes, mostly refusing to cooperate. Yes, unfortunately it is not only Corel's problem. You pay a lot of money for the software, but you can forget about technical support. This also applies to Adobe and other major manufacturers. And to be funny, as I have already written, not enough that it does not repair defects, the next version is a fixed version with the possibility of a cheap upgrade !!! Ever since the fight against piracy, companies have done what they want. It all depends on what you really need. Pinnacle finally has more than 1 video track and allows you to do any video editing other than the manufacturer decides. But in return, it offers many facilities and allows you to quickly edit a film to the appropriate standards without knowing the formats and systems. Sony Movie, although it is 4 times cheaper than the Pro version, is a very advanced program and the difference between Pro and Movie is really in the details. Pro has support for studio cameras, has several advanced options and, above all, allows you to work with formats that you will not use at home. Everything else including filters, transitions, format options is identical to the PRO version. The assembly is not easy and you need to familiarize yourself with its possibilities. Hello. I coped, and how. I made a disk format, divided it into four partitions. Two for systems, two for data. Set to boot from CD in BIOS. I installed WINDOWS XP, installed drivers from ASUS EEE PC 1005HA motherboard (unfortunately WINDOWS XP does not detect all drivers). Then I installed WINDOWS 7 and so far it has been working for two hours. After turning on the laptop, I have the choice of starting the older version or WINDOWS 7. There is one problem that I also had before. WINDOWS 7 does not detect the sound card, there is no sound, video and game controllers tab in device manager and I don't know how to create it to add drivers. There is a speaker icon and a red X on the bar. WINDOWS XP is OK. Drivers are available for WIN 7 on ASUS website. Very important, first we install WIN XP, then WIN 7. And during the installation of XP we format the disk and partition it. Partitions must be seen as primary, so we delete the previous ones and create new ones. System cannot be installed on a dynamic partition. And in a moment I will install the rest of the programs and make the ISO disk. I would like to thank my colleague anmedia for the help so far.

Install drivers for the sound card from windows xp. How would Win7 persistently refuse to install the certificate signing off. I had a problem recently with the ASUSA (desktop) motherboard and Win10 - literally nothing worked under this system. And everything under Win7. The on strength installation of the older drivers restored the operation of the CD under the new system. The boot loader is more of a problem than the ISO partition. Hello.
I have a lot of files made with Corel 7. I absolutely need to print them now. Converting via the network to * .pdf results either in the reconstruction of the graphics only (without text) or the graphics and text breakdown, depending on the page on which I am doing it. CDR Viewer only opens graphics without text. Inkscape opens the graphic and all text is on one line.
Or maybe an idea to install Corel Draw 7 in WIN 7, WIN 8.1 or WIN 10?
I would like to add that the original program, original systems too. I do not count on help from Corel. I bought Pinnacle Studio 16 from them, apparently compatible with WIN 8 and 8.1. Installing this software is one big horror. I did it after two days of fighting. And I don't know by what miracle. And I did not get any help.
I am including a sample file that I want to open and print (need to change the extension from pdf to cdr). And the second after converting to * .pdf.
