I am going to buy RJ45 cable for router, network speed is 250Mb / s. The first better cable probably falls out, because I'm not sure if cat.5 is limited to 100 Mb / s. Anyway, whether such cable would do the job? The cable length will not exceed 2 m.

UTP Cat 5e easily pulls 1Gb / s - it is important that it is connected to 1Gb / s ports.

OK thanks. Any specific companies, if only not to take anything for PLN 2 with Allegro?

Madex, Bitner - do you install at home or only connect 2 hosts?

From my experience, I can recommend MAXCABLE cables, both UTP and FTP, although their FTP is rather typically external and extremely stiff, but the parameters are as good as +

I bought a cable from Bitner and it works, I think I bought it from 20 meters, cut 2x rj-45 and clamped it!

I use MAXCABLE for kilometers :) The longest Gigabit connection I have on this cable is about 25m + PoE power supply to the device and talks without a problem ;)

Topic summary

For a 250Mb/s network, both Cat5e and Cat6 RJ45 cables are suitable, with Cat5e capable of supporting speeds up to 1Gb/s when connected to compatible ports. Users recommend brands such as Madex, Bitner, and MAXCABLE for reliable performance. MAXCABLE is noted for its long-distance capabilities, with successful connections over 25 meters, including Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The importance of avoiding low-cost, low-quality cables is emphasized, particularly when purchasing from online marketplaces.
