    Hello.
I have a cracked porcelain of one of the sparkers in the Mastercook Elegance gas stove. My question is how to properly deal with the exchange. After removing the burners, I can see that the body of each burner is screwed with two screws to the upper housing and you probably need to unscrew them. What to do with thermocouples? They are their own nuts screwed independently of the burner to the housing. Will the thermocouple fall inside after unscrewing this nut? I will be grateful for your help.

Hello, you can replace the magnetos without loosening the screws on the burners and thermocouple nuts. If the front spark gap at the burner is damaged, all you need to do is dismantle the front plate, it is screwed on with two screws from below, while from above there are fixing pins, you need to slide downwards, remove the gas knobs and we have access to the spark gap, and the back through the back wall of the kitchen is This is an old sabaff magneto fixed from the bottom of the plate, a little hard but it can be done. However, the idea of loosening the screws at the burners is also correct, while the screws often break and there is a problem, thermocouple nuts are also not the easiest, it often turns together with the tetmopar, which twists and again the problem. .

The magneto at the front right burner is damaged. You have worried me a little about this possibility of turning thermocouples :( So I'll try your method and I have a question about it. How to remove the knobs because I pull them towards me but they sit very tightly. Do I have to undermine something with them? Another matter is connecting the spark gap. Where is the WN generator? Because I think somewhere in the back when I read. Will I reach there with only the front panel removed?

I have not yet turned the nut on the thermocouple from which there are special means to remove rust or greasy deposits. The knobs need to be gently pry up and come down themselves.

I replaced the magneto with your method. I tried to unscrew the thermocouple nuts and of course they turned completely and the nuts did not move. I tried soaking with rust removers, WD40 and everything I had at home but it did nothing. After removing the front panel, it turned out that the HV generator for the sparkers is on the rear left. I didn't move the oven, but fitted a new spark gap to the old cable. The clamped wires were clamped in a copper tube and slipped over the original heat-resistant insulation. After putting everything together, the igniters work :)

    Hello,
Advice to colleagues where you can buy screws for attaching the burner body to the burner plate. Damaged when trying to unscrew.

For screws, please ask at north.pl or klinikaagd.pl
The topic is a bit old so I close.
