I would like to ask my fellow installers. What Quad do you currently recommend. I have been founding Opticum and Inverto Red for a long time. Opticum broke very badly and it's a lottery at the moment, so I'm not taking it. Inverto Red: well repetitive but average. Recently I started a couple of Televes, but also on average depending on the copy (singles and twins are very good). Recently I got a Triax. A bit expensive - PLN 75 in wholesale. Very good parameters, but of the 3 assumed parameters, one died after 10 days. I still have access to Inverto Black, but is it worth the money? Comparing twins and singles is basically the same as Red. Maybe some other proven brands with good parameters throughout the band? What is Fte? Someone had it in hand? And also Sharp, but I don't take it because I have bad experiences with failure rate.

I do editing from time to time Televes- and in wholesale it can be found below PLN 70. Here you have a test of several converters and Televes (single, twin) does the trick. Quad is even better, according to the tester. A friend of mine works for one of the big installation companies and they only install Televes because they have no problems with them.

I also started a few BEST -s and so far no complaints. Well, but these are quite "young" converters.

Televes singles and twins are very OK but the quad bike didn't blow me away. Comparable to Inverto Red. These tests are from 2014, when Televes was still original, not china.

You probably know that sometimes the fault lies with a poor-quality antenna. I had an accident recently - sunny weather, clear sky, new Polish one 70's , Televes Quad - at 11508V it was impossible to get MER of more than 11.8-11.9 dB! Other frequencies are also bad. Practically the same on the new Televes single. On the same quad and the old 60's, I easily caught 12.7-12.8 dB. The fault turned out to be the new canopy, although it did not have any visible damage or deformation.
This test Blue Line quad wins. But it could not be otherwise, since it is company brand doing the test. I wonder who makes these converters for them?

I assumed the blue line, but it also broke and they stopped bringing them to me. As for the Televes quad, the copies that I assumed had problems with particular transponders. The last one on the 100 triax is 11449H MER 16.2dB and, for example, 11508V not even 15dB. I'm not saying that they are bad, but compared to singles and twins they look pale. This test is a bit far-fetched. Do you not know that you also have to move in / out? :?:

Televes is definitely more stable compared to the Inverto, but with 90 cm antennas you have to be careful with the high level of the output signal.
