    Hello.
I have a problem with my father's car.
    Vw Crafter 2.5 tdi 2009 163ps
The car fires on a cake or a cold engine - but not always
The computer gives no error! There wasn't even anything to delete.
I am worried about the pressure on the rail, because when turning the starter is 60/70 bar,
I don't know what value it should have?
Car in the family of 6 years and never a problem!
This is the first time ...
    greetings

First, what is the speed of the starter (shaft), then does the pressure increase as you turn ???? Sometimes it is so that the starter is spinning like crazy and the engine does not see the rotation - damaged shaft sensor - no errors. Start by checking the parameters and vcds, not the universal one because sometimes they distort.

The engine speed shows fine. I will check exactly how much it spins on the starter. But it looked okey ... i.e. after firing on the cake, the required and actual pressure was equal.

I checked the engine speed while turning the starter and gives from 210 to 260 revolutions. I unplugged the valves on the rail and the pump but it did not help. Through the computer, I activated the pump in the tank and you can hear that it is walking, but I do not know what pressure it gives. Today, under the firing rectifier during shooting, the pressure on the bar was up to 80 bar ... from what I read in this CR system, it should be about 180 bar for the car to start. After firing on the cake, the pressure on the rail during idling is 300 bar which keeps well ... but during firing I noticed that the pressure on the rail increases slowly, from 220 to 300 bar takes 3/4 seconds ... should ?
