18650 Battery Dimensions for eVic-VTC Mini E-Cigarette: Comparing Short & Long Models

I have a problem with the dimensions of the 18650 battery because some are shorter and the other is longer by almost 3mm, which prevents me from mounting them in my eVic-VTC mini e-cigarette.
The longer batteries are marked with B after the 18650 inscription or the letter B means that the batteries are longer.
I mean, I want to buy batteries for my eVic-VTC mini and I don't want them too long again.

Hello. The easiest way is to remove the batteries from your E-cigarette and measure the length and the case is solved.

I have one more question related to the battery, namely the PCB protection on the battery.
Well, my e-cigarette eVic-VTC mini does not want to work with such a battery with protection because the screen flashes constantly and once shows the display that the battery is charged and a second later shows that the battery is low, but I cut off the protection in the battery, then everything works as it should.
Is it a good idea to remove this protection, so far I have extended the connection of this protection with a cable so that I can use this battery in an e-cigarette without protection and for charging with protection, my charger is Lii-500.

Hello - the heater in the e-cigarette consumes a lot of electricity (but only briefly), that's why

The question was not how long the battery for my e-cigarette should be, because the shorter one fits only how to choose it when buying it so as not to buy a too long battery again, but I already got the right answer.
I thought that the longer and shorter batteries were justified in their technical description.
