I have such a problem, the voltage in the lighter remains even after removing the key from the ignition switch, which may be a problem or otherwise how to remove it. I bought a car camera and I need to make sure that the voltage in the lighter goes out after turning off the ignition

There is probably constant voltage in the lighter socket in A3, I have the same in golf 4

This is not a good solution if you have a camera. I bought a cigarette lighter splitter and I think I will use it separately after ignition and leave it in the original one as is.

If you have a camera permanently, you hide the wires and power from the box after the ignition and not the topic in this forum. Or the modification of the power socket.
