Auto Renault Kangoo II 2011
The problem is as follows. Three years ago, the wipers in the intermittent mode and both gears stopped working in the car, but they worked when using the washer. Somewhere in the meantime, long, fog lights front and rear ceased to operate. The customer used the car for short distances so he got rid of the problems and drove anyway. Today he went somewhere downpour and smoke from the shifters, got scared and put the car in for repair. In the control handle the spray contacts have overheated and the contacts burned out, in principle it is not surprising since they were designed for short-term use and for three years they were switched on all the time to trigger the wipers. I ordered him new shifters and that's it, but I'm more interested in the genesis of the problem, and even though I'm an old volkswagen dealer, I kicked the CLIP somewhere out of the box, which I once bought for one car.
and now in the car there are errors in the engine from the cruise control (despite the fact that the driver sees pressing the buttons on the steering wheel) and in the UCH one error (DEF228 CO.0) from the shifters. despite the error in the measured values, the UCH sees the position of all switches in the shifters from lights, passing, long, dim, all wiper modes, computer control etc. everything is ok. So I came in UPC (or what it is called there in Renowki) and the measured blocks do not show much there, but by testing the actuators everything works beautifully. The lights come on, the wipers operate in both gears. It is as if there was communication between UCH and UPC either one does not send or the other does not receive data, however, I assume that it would generate some error either in UCH or UPC. I pulled the UPC out of the car and it seems ok, there are no signs of flooding, the contacts in the connectors are clean, the fuses are whole. The car has 6 years and 59 thousand mileage, the first owner has a car since new, nothing has ever been buried.
I am sitting in VAGs and the problems of renowki are alien to me I looked into those burned shifters only because I know the owner. I would prefer to direct him to a Frenchman, as if someone from the Tri-City area would like to take care of it, I would like to redirect the owner. However, if no one is found and someone throws good advice, I would be grateful.
