Hello. I am a new user here. I have the following problem. I need to install the SAJ solar cell Wi-Fi module, I have operating instructions, but I don't understand it a bit. Because I think logically at the beginning this module should connect to my Wi-Fi network, and then only when connecting to this module should I have access to it so that it can later read data from it. My question is how do I configure it to connect to the internet.
    The instruction manual is attached.
    Thank you for all information.

    RE. Valid attachment.

How if it doesn't have a built-in module?
    Everything is in the instructions.

According to the instructions, when the module is properly connected, the Wi-Fi network lights up red and the green light flashes, so how to make it connect to this network and that's how it signals the correct connection.

Read the instructions at least one more time and again until you get it right - until you connect the AP to it without connecting to it wirelessly - you even have it in graphical form on page 30 of the manual - so I don't know why you insist on some of your inventions.

    Immediately different ;)
According to this, you need to connect via a computer / laptop's wireless network card and then pair it with your network.

So disconnect from your network, find the driver in the list of networks, and follow the instructions previously posted.

I followed the instructions, but I can't connect with it so that after connecting, if I enter the address in the browser, it works as per the instructions, and the signaling diodes do not show that I am properly connected.

Ok, I understand that you connect and connect to the controller wirelessly - in that case go to the connection properties (on the wireless connection icon - properties and open the Status window - click Details, check the IPv4 default gateway and type the IP that appears there in your browser.

FAQ

TL;DR: Quick 3‑step setup: join the module’s SSID, note 1 IPv4 “Default gateway,” then browse to that IP. “Check the IPv4 default gateway and type the IP.” [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763532]

Why it matters: This FAQ helps new installers fix “can’t connect” issues and get SAJ Wi‑Fi modules online fast.

Quick Facts

How do I connect the SAJ Wi‑Fi module to the internet?

Use your laptop’s Wi‑Fi to join the module’s temporary network. Then pair it with your router through the module’s web page. This requires connecting wirelessly from the computer first. After pairing, the module relays inverter data through your router. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763266]

How do I find the module’s IP address for setup?

Open your wireless connection Status, click Details, and read the IPv4 Default Gateway. Enter that IP in your browser to reach the module. “Check the IPv4 default gateway and type the IP.” This is the most direct way to reach the configuration page. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763532]

What do the red and green LEDs mean during setup?

Expect two LEDs in play: the Wi‑Fi LED (red) and a green status LED. A red Wi‑Fi and flashing green indicate a proper link as described in the manual note referenced in the thread. If they don’t match, repeat pairing steps. [Elektroda, damian_m94, post #16763150]

My browser can’t reach the module—what should I check first?

Disconnect from your home Wi‑Fi and ensure you’re joined to the module’s network. Then try the browser again using the IP from the Default Gateway field. Switching networks is essential before pairing. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763497]

Can I set it up without a Wi‑Fi card?

No. You need a laptop or PC with a Wi‑Fi card to join the module’s temporary wireless and complete pairing. Without wireless capability, you cannot access its setup SSID to configure it. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763488]

The manual I have looks different—could that be the problem?

Yes. Using the wrong instruction manual leads to incorrect steps and failed pairing. Confirm you have the correct SAJ Wi‑Fi module guide before proceeding with setup. The thread author fixed progress after correcting the manual. [Elektroda, damian_m94, post #16763234]

How do I pair the module with my router?

Join the module’s Wi‑Fi from your laptop, open its web page, and select your router’s SSID with the password. This ‘join‑then‑pair’ flow is required before the inverter data can move through your network. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763266]

Give me the quick 3‑step how‑to for first‑time setup.

  1. Disconnect from home Wi‑Fi and join the module’s SSID.
  2. Open Wi‑Fi Status > Details; note the IPv4 Default Gateway.
  3. Enter that IP in a browser to configure and pair to your router. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763532]

What should I see in the Wi‑Fi list when the module is ready to configure?

You should see the module’s own network (its SSID) and be able to select it instead of your home Wi‑Fi. Selecting that SSID is mandatory before opening the configuration page in your browser. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763497]

Why do the LEDs not show a correct connection yet?

If the red Wi‑Fi LED and flashing green do not match the manual’s ‘connected’ pattern, the module is not fully paired. Reconnect to its SSID and repeat the configuration flow in your browser. [Elektroda, damian_m94, post #16763150]

What if I still cannot connect after following the instructions?

Verify you used the correct manual and that you switched to the module’s SSID before browsing. Many failures trace to staying on home Wi‑Fi or using the wrong guide. Reattempt the steps carefully. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763497]

What’s an easy sanity check when troubleshooting?

Open the wireless connection Details and confirm the IPv4 Default Gateway changed after joining the module’s SSID. If it didn’t, you are not on the module’s network yet. Try reconnecting and then browse to that IP. [Elektroda, sosarek, post #16763532]
