Hello, for a long time I have been trying to connect in any way and from the laptop and through the mobile application to the inverter.
wifi in the laptop and phone does not see the inverter, i.e. the AP ..... serial number. Maybe twice I managed to find the inverter wifi range for me, i.e. AP ... I connected then I got into the search engine on 10.10.100.254 and entered my network and password, then my application still does not want to connect to the inverter, as if it was not connected. Adds a logger by scanning the label on the inverter and still nothing.
My wifi practically does not find this inverter at all. I do not know why .

Because you have poor coverage. The built-in antenna is weak, I had to add a repater to connect to the solarman.
The problem is that the inverter will not write history, it only sends data in real time, I have a second zevelsolar inverter that can send data after a week.
You can try to change the wifi channel and position the antenna differently, the radio waves have polarity.

I had a similar problem, the inverter lost communication with the wifi module after some time, the problem turned out to be the old inverter firmware. I reported to the website, they changed the software and now it's been 3 months without any problems.

I do not know why it does not save your history because it writes me normally, even though it also uses a wifi repeater to extend the network.
I have access to current data and history from the phone solarnan app and PC website https://www.solarmanpv.com/portal/LoginPage.aspx

What are you writing about, I think I know on which page it reads the data.
To confirm your thesis, disconnect the wi-fi for 2 days and check if you dump your history data on the solarman.
Now, customize the screen and think about why there is no data from March 10 in the history. Connecting AFORE Inverter with SOLARMAN App: AP Serial Number & Wifi Connectivity Issues

My friend was not there because I was at work, but according to what I talked to the service technician and what my wife said, it looked like the service technician unscrewed the inverter, connected the laptop to the inverter board and uploaded a new soft. Apparently, the first inverters often had such a defect. The guy who signed me for the installation of the photovoltaic installation also said that he had had such a problem with the company's inverters before. After replacing the software, the problem disappeared completely.

My friend, I misunderstood you, I thought you could view the data in real time and you cannot view the history.
The inverter transfers the data to the server in real time every 5 minutes and most of the data is saved there. Only the total amount of energy produced, daily energy, errors, etc. is saved in the inverter.

I also have the same problem as the author that I cannot view the data in the application, how much did it produce, etc. Only that it worked for me 2-3 months and it stopped 10 days ago. After entering the inverter via IP, you can upload a new firmware, which will most likely solve the problem. I wrote to Afore, I also sent screenshots, we'll see what they write back.

For me, the problem was that after entering the inverter menu, info about wifi, the inverter did not see the wifi card and it should display its number. If you have an inverter under warranty, write to the service, and even better through the installer who installed it. Rather, it will not be possible to download anything remotely there, only via the cable.

I have the same problem. Here is the answer from the site:
    "Hello,

Soft 12.35 may interrupt data transmission on the solarman, it will be necessary to update the software.
Our service technician, after prior appointment, will upload the new software. "

"We check the software in accordance with the instructions:
    1) Press ESC twice and then ENT
    2) When the menu appears, use the down arrows to go to Serial Number
    3) After the serial number of the inverter is shown, press the down arrow and it will show the values of DSP and HMI. "

I am currently waiting for a service technician.

Hello colleagues. My inverter also loses communication with the wifi module from time to time. After various combinations, I came to the conclusion that you need to change the port number in the rs485 settings to 1 and after a while the wifi module will get along with the inverter. Maybe one of your colleagues knows the installer's password for this inverter?

There is nothing to play. I already had a service technician and changed the soft from 1.35 to 1.42. This is a free service under warranty. Works very well now. The old soft changed for some reason the RS485 parameters and hence these problems. He also improved the inverter settings so that the energy production increased. In fact, the inverter starts working much earlier and produces longer.

    Hello.
I have a few questions about this inverter. I am trying to connect via wifi and the solarman application. I set up the app, but it tells me it's offline and no usage data. How to connect it to wifi at home? I have to stand by the inverter to read anything?
    Regards

You have already written it before, these inverters have a software problem, service request, software replacement and after the problem.

I know. I made myself vague. I mean, do I have to stand by the solarman program to read the work data? Can I somehow connect it to the network / router at home?

The solarman app, if properly configured, works always and everywhere as long as it has only internet coverage. Of course, the inverter must also have access to the Internet because it sends data to the server on a regular basis. The phone does not need to be within range of the inverter. In the manual that comes with the WiFi module, there is a step-by-step guide to configuring the module and the phone. But from what you wrote, the problem is what everyone else has, i.e. faulty factory software.

So if I have wifi at home, is it enough to "see" the inverter and everything will work?
Alternatively, how to configure it to make it work? I can't read it in the manual.

I don't know how to write anymore. If the inverter has access to the Internet, then a phone with the Solarman app and Internet access at the other end of Poland is to work. Data flow is viewed like this Inverter Internet Server Internet Telephone with Solarman. I can't explain it any more.

When you turn off your home WiFi network and start the inverter, the inverter WiFi module will start working as AP. On the phone, turn on the WiFi network search, you should find the AP_xxxxxx network where xxxx ... this is the WiFi module number, give the connection, then turn on the home WiFi network, After connecting the phone to the Inverter, enter the address 10.10.100.254 into the browser and proceed as it is in the manual because I will not rewrite it. If you still do not understand, ask someone who has an idea because it is difficult to explain from a distance. If you have a new inverter, it is very likely that the inverter will not connect to the Internet, the fault lies with the inverter software. A site visit is essential. They program it from scratch for free.

Thank you very much. I did not understand that I have to enter the browser and keep working, I thought that everything is done in the solarman apk. I'll call them tomorrow and let them come upload this software.

You must first, after logging in to the inverter's website, search for your home network and connect to it (described in the manual), then configure the solarman.

    Hello
LOGGER from the inverter broke, they have to replace it under warranty I have one more at home, I managed to connect it, but in the application it still exists, how to remove it so that the app does not see it, I don't see such an option anywhere, someone did something like that in the past. Download "Solarman Smart" and ensure that NET and COM on WiFi module are green and Ready is blinking slowly.

Topic summary

Users are experiencing difficulties connecting AFORE inverters to the SOLARMAN app due to WiFi connectivity issues and problems with the inverter's firmware. Common solutions include using a WiFi repeater to enhance signal strength, updating the inverter's firmware, and ensuring proper configuration of the WiFi settings. Some users reported that the inverter loses communication with the WiFi module, which can often be resolved by a service technician updating the software. The inverter should be able to send real-time data to the SOLARMAN app, but issues with data history and connectivity persist for many users. Proper setup involves accessing the inverter's IP address and configuring the network settings as per the manual.
